100% with you on a lot of this.

It will be a great relief when it’s sorted but truthfully I have zoned out as it’s depressingly dull and hardly about football.

i can only speak for myself but I’ll be renewing etc. But something has changed for me. I hope what’s missing comes back

That “against all the odds” mentality we had as we rose from 4th division to 1st.

different circumstances, but a crowd that is there simply to support would make a hell of a difference.

Mate, we could be gone tomorrow

The relief if this gets sorted will be enormous

Anybody who bails out now is no bwfc fan

They can only be playing at it

I'd like their money but that's about it

Yeah. This is about survival of the club and nowt else. Sadly stories that FV are looking to appoint Pearson do not help. People get carried away. We are probably 24-48 hours away from either continued survival or extinction.

Haha agree on that. No idea on what’s going on here ha

If the takeover is done by Wednesday all will be forgotten, we will be on our way to Wycombe, beverage in hand ready for the season ahead.

I keep telling myself they'll complete this week. But then again, I did do that all of last week.

I hear you and have been there. I hope it comes back. I need ken and co to be a distant memory to start that again. Just want to discuss how good or crap we are and not if people are being paid or latest companies house reports

Genuine question for anyone to answer if they can, if takeover is done by Wed, which means the players havent been paid upto that point, what is the chance of us putting a team out at Wycombe?  We could still be in administration and play at Wycombe so we "survive" the week, or the takeover is completed on Monday morning but the players arent paid by Friday so they strike, we dont play and we are potentially chucked out of the league.  All I'm saying is, and correct me if I'm wrong, our survival this week is more about the players crossing the white line than FV signing a document.

To exit admin requires all football creditors paid in full under EFL rules. If we come out of admin then the players have been paid.

Ps if this gets sorted, wait for the meltdown when assets start being sold

I genuinely dont think there will be a reaction

I fully expect as soon as the deal is done and FV own the club and the hotel for the stadium to be sold and to be leased back to the football club , to a hotel chain , to Keoghs and anyone else they can get to occupy any empty spaces

I expect the land the club owns adjoining the training ground ( that Brett Warburton has a charge over ) to be sold off for housing

I really dont mind if all the car parks are developed to the maximum permitted by the planning authorities

I think the majority of fans just want to be able to purchase a season ticket and to sit in a seat and watch some football .

Who owns the seat they sit on , the car park they parked the car on and the football pitch itself is secondary to seeing 11 men on the pitch wearing Bolton Wanderers shirts

People are weary of the process and mentally drained by whats gone on over last 12 months

Stripping away the assets from the football club may be a blessing - so long as we have a basic academy / training pitch  , a ground to call home and a team to represent the town should be enough for most people and it should mean those that are running the football club are doing that and nothing else and focusing on getting it to run at break even

Fully agree on what you see happening

Fans reaction....jury is out

I think this has been answered already but my understanding was that upon completion football creditors would be paid in full and therefore they wouldn't be on strike. A bigger concern for me is if we could even register the players in time

Players need to be registered by 12.00 on the day preceding when a game is played

I still don't understand why the EFL haven't outlined the punishment for not playing the Brentford game. If it was a point deduction they could just get it over and done with. it makes me think it could be a hefty fine and they are waiting to fuck us over with that instead.

Guess they need to see if we bottle it for any other games before they dock us 3 points?

Hopefully we've had some contract negotiations with them. Otherwise it's the 16 year old whites on a tour of Wycombe

Marc iles did say a couple of weeks ago that they wouldn’t field the youth team for one game reason being they would would have to be registered before hand and would take places up in the squad  and leaving the trailist unable to sign so we would be stuck fielding them till Xmas . Also wouldn’t the other 5 players that handed there notice in be free to walk on Friday if not payed ? leaving us with only Lowe . Got to be sorted before Wycombe

Exactly. If it isn't done by Thursday/Friday we are in even worse trouble.

Just waiting for someone to come in from leftfield (or something like that).

I've given up on this take over. It's just not happening

I don't see how it gets sorted by FV this week IF the hotel is critical to them proceeding,

That would mean hotel admin had cut short their marketing period from their stated 8 weeks

How would that happen?

Well it might release the pressure

Far be it for me to question mr iles but don’t players under a certain age (I think either 21 or 23)  not need to be registered as it then allows teams to have 25 named squad players but can then use youth team players also.

Nixon sticking to his guns that Davies family not satisfied with their part of the deal yet and that the deal isn’t close.

Get the feeling this could drag on a while yet...
