The trouble isn't that he rushes to print. It is that he's so naive about business that he just prints what he's told. He believed every world Holdsworth spun him cos he's "Deano". And now that DH's fingerprints are all over another mess, Iles refuses to acknowledge that perhaps, DH was dodgy as fuck. 

He's now doing the work for potential buyers of publicising their interest, telling everyone they are close, then that they've "walked away".  Nixon says they have pulled back but its all part of the negotiation game. Iles though seriously thought a takeover would happen in a day. He's completely clueless and reports one side only....

If a takeover really is on the cards it will only be those very close to KA who will know the details. Iles might have folk at the club who can tell him wages have been paid but this stuff is unlikely to leak unless one side wants it to. 

Iles has no chance if he did not say anything he would get slaughtered if he does he is unlikely to have the real details.

True, though I'd be thinking if they're still unattached, will they be much better than what we have now.

Either way it doesn't seem anything will happen particularly quickly, so it could be a bit late for this season.
