Be nice to shift talk from the takeover and Brexit for a few hours, Stop the bickering and enjoy a day out, irrespective of the result.  LGW COYWM

  • Not stopped smiling since the final whistle. Brilliant day out in the big smoke ENHANCED by the football for once. Had a fiver on 2-1 at 16/1 too. Can't beat days like today. Buzzing.

Great result. Evidently playing Connolly and Williams helps massively. 5 points off Millwall. Can it be done?

Could it be won last game stay up

He played em against Millwall. Then the muppet stuck Connelly left back next game

I know mate and brought back Lowe then we lacked energy in the middle of the pitch.

At least Lowe is out now

Thankfully PP isn't able bring Lowe back into the midfield for a while yet.

Brentford hold all the cards.

Gotta play Millwall, Ipswich, Rotherham and us before the season is out.

Birmingham's last 3 are Rotherham, Wigan and Reading

They also play Ipswich

Good point. It's not that I don't like Lowe it's just Williams and Connelly seem to be decent together in the middle.

Great reward for all those who travelled down. Enjoy the night!

What a win that was. Could have been out of sight with a bit more luck. Gary O’Neil is my new hero

From 39,000 feet over Iraq, what a brilliant and unexpected result to wake up to! Hope all who went enjoyed!

The two Everton lads were absolutely brilliant.

Connolly to left back next week

Fucking hell are you in a Nimrod?

Great win, we are a football club after all 👍

Great result and what great support, mentioned a number of times on GMR. Well done lads n lasses.

Well that felt like a different team to the one at Wigan.

Magennis, O'Neill, Connelly and Williams worked their bloody socks off. A deserved win

Up the Whites!

new owners & great escape is just greedy, no?

Even Amiobi contributed today. Great effort

With the games left i still cant see us staying up but results go our way next week there is a glimmer of hope

Edited by RUREADY2ROLL

As previously said it's the hope that's a real bastard

Not a chance of a result from this game and we go and do it

I also can't see us staying up but got a room booked at The Premier Inn for the Brentford game as on the lash that day and don't trust the trains

Couple of wins and I'll be giddy as fuck for that game

I think we can go into the final day in 22nd, knowing that a win is needed to over either Wigan or Millwall or both, whereas a draw is definitely not enough.

Absolutely buzzing off that today, especially second half. Gary O’Neill was class as fuck and the two Everton lads in centre mid got stuck in.

Anyone know what the deal was with our lot in that box with the flag?

Mentioned on the Parky thread.

It's the oddest executive box I've ever seen. I'd have been terrified in there. It didn't look safe!

That's a hell of a crystal ball you've got Malc.

Much rather it be away than at home, think we stand more chance away from home.

Takeover this week, sack parky and beat Ipswich and the great escape may just be on...
