For those that it don't understand gambling it means that if you put £10 on Bolton to win you will lose £10.

Not neccesarily the best all round day out, but the best opening day performance must be the 5-0 at Leicester.

As long as there are 11 players in white shirts starting for us I don't mind if they are under 15's they will get my backing and I will be there COYWM

Think we paid £45via brum no rail card

I think the railways are like airlines in that they soon shoot their prices up if they get a few bookings ( possibly just interest ) , even well in advance.

Aye and the old “ only 2 left at this price”

without doubt the journeys which attract interest will go up a couple of quid a time

The cheapest way is probably by splitting the ticket at Birmingham but being restricted to specified trains,

After a quick look, at the moment there's.....Piccadilly  09.27- Birmingham 10.58   Advance single £15-20

Birmingham11.55 - High Wycombe 13.13 Advance single £7

H W 17.34 - Birm 18.58  Adv Single £6-40

Birm 19.57 - Picc 21.24 Adv Single £19-65

=  Manchester - Wycombe return  £48-25 ( before any railcard discount)

Thank you both for your help - really appreciate it. I think I am going to opt for the train rather than a drive. I did consider a club coach at one point but having had no experience with this in the past I think I will just book the train. Here's hoping we actually have a squad to field.

I'd make Gerald Cid look like Sergio Ramos.

Booked via London this morning - £63 with railcard for me and Junior.

Need to be off sharpish after, as 17-51 back into London, but was similar at Shrewsbury (about similar distance) a few years ago - so will just need to jog a bit !!

Mods  - please feel free to block any of my posts on a friday after 7.30pm. 🙄

I'm guessing as we've never played them anything about decent boozers, best way to get to the ground is up in the air

Wycombe fans are taking it we will sell 2k and there’s more if we want

hmm

2400 if we need them

Speaking to a City fan yesterday, they had parked up there for Wembley.  Decent Wetherspoons on the high street, couple of miles to the ground.

Just in case you're interested.

From Football Grounds guide:

Nigel Cockram a visiting Bristol Rovers fan adds; 'There is a great pub, (but only for the lads) called the White Horse, at 95 West Wycombe Road, which is the A40, about 1 & 1/2 miles from the ground. It opens at 12.00 on Saturdays, has one real ale, BUT has gorgeous strippers from 12.30. Entry is free, but each girl does a collection after each act. I thoroughly recommend this pub.

Garp has a Wycombe mate. If you've still got my number send me a text

Yeah, well there's obviously some decent, compassionate folks on here.

Otherwise you'd have been binned off ages ago with your senile ramblings. 😀

It's 5 weeks on Saturday to the Wycombe match and the administratrors haven't even put season tickets on sale yet so there is no money to sign players.2k would be a fantastic effort if its going to be to watch the youth team lose.

Yes just booked 3 now, no rail card though

9.15 going  19.40 back

915 out

7 back

Only booked tonight

Cheaper options than the 50 we paid but chose the SP to Gillingham route

Saves dicking around on the tube

I was being over cautious with 19.40 will probably change to 19.00 tbh

Ours is London Victoria to gillingham

Brilliant, thank you
