  • Don’t think ever felt as proud to be a Bolton fan. 2 kids, the wife, peteski and my old man kicking and heading every ball at the end like it was the World Cup final.  We are in it together

  • Our lot gutted, but well done your kids - showed a lot of heart (and got stuck in). Good luck for the rest of the season.

If we were Chelsea fans we could sit in the shed end

Watching Shed Evans, Sheddy Hill etc.

Paid £100 for a ticket in the shed to see us relegated.

Never again

I was in there as well. No idea what I paid for the ticket.

Was in the Shed end when Graeme Rowe missed, in the cup. A Chelsea fan tried to set my mates coat on fire. We scarpered pronto.

And no. it wasn't a blazer, or even a smoking jacket.

Back in the early 70’s when everyone under the age of 21 was wearing fish tail parkas, some twats in the Lever end used to regularly drop a lit cig butt into the hood of some poor kid in front of them. The burning parka sent out plumes of smoke much to the amusement of those close by. Usually the victim was the last to know.

On my jolly’s at the moment, but went to wycombe and by the sounds of it, the players exceeded that performance - so hats off all round.

just hope we can now get the takeover sorted, as I believe then we could stay up and start to rebuild the club back up.

Can't be arsed going back through this thread. Just proud.

You’ve evidently never managed a team of people with that comment

Yep. Must have also missed all the previous times Gavin McCann was patrolling the dugout.

We don't have a squad. If McCann and Spooner are now coaching our new first team, what are the first team coaches doing during the week?

Some of the words are fairly obviously replacements by the >right click > thesaurus > change word method.

Emphatically, vociferous from the first couple of paragraphs are rarely first-choice words in an essay.

Junior reporter work at best.

Or is it the work of the world's greatest journalist?

We might have lost most of the senior players and the remaining ones refused to play  but has Parky "lost the dressing room"

Yes it describes a post using 543 words when 12 would do.

Street talk describes this as a ‘Sluffy’.

I think he thought better of saying everything was positive when it clearly isn't.  Poor editing mind!
