Next manager

Assuming we survive, who’s the man?

David Lee would be my choice, based largely on the fact he’ll be cheap, keen and a fan favourite.

Keith Hill, Nobby are 2 others being mooted.

Before we got Rioch I wanted Dario Gradi. I think we should go for him, as we need some better PR.

Just heard from The Bantry Club on Derby St, that a well known local sauce company have been successful in their bid, with the proviso that the new manager plays five up front. It’s a clear case

  • Young, English manager. Took Notts County to the play offs in the league we are potentially going to be in next year. 42% win ratio from his 99 games in charge, and he’s available! Forgetting his

When baz posted that, briefly my heart sank. Head says no problem with hill, but it confirmed I'd prefer Nobby. Just something to give the place a boost

Planning for league 2 already i suppose

It’s a free hit for whoever comes in really

but both local lads, “dream job” was how it was put to my sauce. Would do it for nowt I reckon

Hill plays the right way, can work on a shoe string and brings on youngsters. That’s where we are

announcement either tonight or tomorrow allegedly

fucking hope so as my reputation will be in tatters 😂

nowt against Hill but hope you're wrong

Out of those mentioned I’d take a punt on Nolan but wouldn’t be too unhappy with Hill considering where we’ll probably be this time next year

Embarrassing isn’t it? Hill proven at level we are at. Nolan isn’t. I’d have either.

I agree. Nolan is the bigger gamble

the clubs been gambled on too often the last few years

To be honest the choice of Managers at the moment is pretty good compared with what's been on offer last time the Bolton jobs been available.

For me I'd be happy with nolan or hill,

Reckon nolan might bring phil brown in as No 2 🤷‍♂️

By the way it would be Hill and David Flitcroft not Gary

Hill is 100% the sensible choice. More experience, plays a better style and has a decent record at lower levels.

Nolan would have the fans behind him for longer, but he's not been around enough to properly see what he's about. Also wouldn't be long before people get tired of his style of football if his last jobs were anything to go by.

Think you might have been kidding about Brown seeing as though he's signed a deal to manage in India again.

Sauce is ketchup.

Bloody spoil sport with your fancy university education. ;)

I'd take Nolan or Hill.

Might be better to watch under Hill.
