Next manager

Assuming we survive, who’s the man?

David Lee would be my choice, based largely on the fact he’ll be cheap, keen and a fan favourite.

Keith Hill, Nobby are 2 others being mooted.

Before we got Rioch I wanted Dario Gradi. I think we should go for him, as we need some better PR.

Just heard from The Bantry Club on Derby St, that a well known local sauce company have been successful in their bid, with the proviso that the new manager plays five up front. It’s a clear case

  • Young, English manager. Took Notts County to the play offs in the league we are potentially going to be in next year. 42% win ratio from his 99 games in charge, and he’s available! Forgetting his

Good appointment, happy with that.

No doubt Dave Flitty will be arriving shortly as his number 2.

Both Bolton fellas and probably what we need right now.

Edit - Just read the BN link and seen that DF is indeed confirmed as Hills number 2.

It's where we're at right now and these 2 know the lower leagues inside out.

Be reet, for now.

Cowdrill official ITK

Good news - good fit for us i reckon, know the leagues, known for decent footie, got an affinity with the club and town.

Wish them all the best

Wanted Keith Hill when we appointed PP. Sure he plays attacking football which will make a refreshing change.

We're in safe hands, Hill will keep us up! He plays more attractive football than some of our ex managers and  he'll be great for our youngsters too.

Not my first choice but gotta get fully behind him now  , welcome to Bolton Wanderers Keith , biggest job you ever had .

Manning and his tin pot site posted Kevin Nolan had won the race, and then Keith hill was officially appointed 5 minutes later 😅😅

Well happy with hill.

He knows the players at lower levels. Knows how to work to budget and has a no nonsense approach from what I've seen.

Onward and upward.

In fairness they didn’t. They wrote a whole article about how Hill had got it. They posted two tweets one saying Nolan then one saying Hill. But their article said Hill had it.

Eh? I literally wrote that Hill was coming. How do you like those emojis

Very happy with this

Keith & Dave’s Superwhite Army

Really good appointment. Looking forward to him getting started properly now.

Monday should be fun

Sensible appointment.  Hopefully him and Flitcroft are working tonight.  No time to lose!

Dream job for them both.

Weve got people who care for the club top to bottom now

11 players already good to go

I'm happy with Hill. Always enjoyed his post match interviews on gmr and one late night one when drink had deffo been taken. Straight talker and a likeable bloke. Onwards and upwards.

Wanted Nolan. Gutted for him.

Thought Hill was a properly bitter cunt last time we played Rochdale in the league at this level. Nonetheless, I’m pleased with the appointment now it’s been announced. Time to get behind him.

Happy with that. Experienced - and at this level - reputation for decent footie, seemingly well liked by Rochdale fans.

And nice to have a couple of local lads in charge.

Rochdale fans saying best manager they've ever had, makes some strange decisions, and his post match comments leaves a lot to be desired, wait and see, but no choice other that to get right behind him and Flitcroft

Best option for me. Obviously a lot of time for Nolan but in our position I think Hill is the obvious choice.

Where in Bolton is he from?

Whichever was appointed, for me it was the most important first signing. Before players makes obvious sense; let him get who he wants.

i'm glad it isn't Gary Flitcroft.

Not unhappy with this at all. Still would have like Nobby to be honest but Hills a decent choice... liking the speed that FV have done this though needed it to be quick

100% behind Hilly and Flitcroft. Reasonable choice in circumstances. More experienced than Nolan and he really did work miracles with a Rochdale team who had never been out of Div 4. Excited now lets have a real go at staying up and enjoying supporting the lads in white shirts whoever comes in or back this week!
