I noticed that ITV on my Virgin Box is tuned to Granada so just happened to put the news on from over there. 

They had breaking news for Bolton fans.

I'd just got in from taking the dog for a walk. Sat down and noticed I had a notification from BWFC Twitter. Shouted "YES!" so loud the dog nearly shat itself.

On the train just passing the sculpture that signified the end of the Blaydon Race. Every time I go by it now I will hum The Burnden Aces to myself.

I had the Take Over page open and it suddenly had updates in rapid succession, saw the screen shot and confirmed it on the club website.

Just parked the car in Long Buckby Northants (home), after driving back from a meeting in High Wycombe and my mobile phone went ballistic.

I realised that I was crying, sat in the car on my own. Up to that point I hadn't realised how much it had been pecking my head. I'm 64, FFS!
