  • Another great away day following our team.  Today's a reality check, we're going down so stop stressing about formations, how shit certain players are, the manager chewing spiggy,  etc, etc....

  • They say football is a results driven industry.  I disagree when you see the masses of Wanderers and friendships forged over many years, nay decades, and the new unity we have. Today being anothe

If anyone was unsure about the scale of the task, that has just confirmed it.

ah well. Hilly has got a big job on but we knew that. Thought we'd lose about 0-3 but yeah a timely reminder

True - we have to keep the faith and it might even take a couple of seasons in League 2 before we start the recovery. If we keep the fans and back whoever they bring in we have a chance to get back up the divisions

Wont take any messing this manager and wouldn't be surprised before players like them get dumped out the squad quickly

I have feeling we’re going to battered every game to like till about December unfortunately we always seem to completely capitulate in 2nd half of games probably mainly due to fitness. All talk of staying up this season needs to stop & it’s all about building for league two next season

It's a team that's being chucked together with varying levels of fitness. It'll take time. To be frank, we've got time. We're heading for League 2 anyway given we'll have more points docked. We've got our first point and our first goal. At some point it'll be our first win. Baby steps.

Relieved it didn't get to 8 and a club record tonking.

A Portsmouth supporter told me that after one of their administrations they had to sign up  cheap, available players in a short space of time. Some of them looked reasonable signings on paper but the end result for them was a crap team made up of players other clubs didn't want

We are two months behind these lot. And to be fair - I thought Rotherham were head and shoulders over anyone else we have played this season. Loads more days like this to come. Keep the faith.

Still proud to be a Wanderer!

Seen us concede too many at Rotherham. Not going there again.

Obviously managerial speak, and you know that. Hardly be a good idea to come out after and say "We got battered because those players are fucking shite".

Bugger! That didn't go to plan!

Top day out all the same, those that left early, don't bother again til we start winning eh!

Support the boys, be glad we've still got a team, it's going to be a long journey but hopefully an enjoyable one

COYFWM!

Fuckin  ell from where we were stay positive !

No one likes getting humped 6-1 so disappointment is only to be expected.

Theres a difference though between disappointment and anger.

Getting angry about today is plain weird.

Who else?

im hoping it’s mainly pricks who don’t attend games. We need the positivity shown by our away support to be the same at home. If people start getting on the players backs whilst Sunderland are spuds deep in us, that would be cuntish.

No angry , disappointed though.

We looked like a team full of strangers...oh hang on a minute.

Expected a defeat, but maybe not this heavy.

As professionals those players will be hurting now, but they will get better  after a few games together.

Their 1st (or second) goal was a belter btw, a bit like Gazzas for England v The Jocks in Euro '96.

I thought he should have done much better for 3rd, 4th and 6th.
