That's magical.  What adds to it is knowing the effort that would be involved to find out the results.  Not even teletext or local radio 5 live.  You'd probably have to wait to buy a paper in the morning to find out how your team's gone on in a midweek away game.

The other glorious thing about the 5 cup matches in 17 days is that the squads had about 13 players in those days, no subs were allowed and rotation was none existent.  Pitches would have been a mud heap in January and the ball like a wet through Christmas pudding.

What did we charge them? 

£20.  If we'd charged more I'm certain both teams wouldnt have brought as many, they would have called us money grabbers.

Our prices this season are spot on and should be kept the same next year in Div 2.

I've taken 0-2 at 20/1, where there's life there's hope and so on.

Getting organised to set off for the train, i think Rochdale station is marginally closer to the ground than Bolton but it'll be a nice walk anyway. 🙂

Preparing for the worst today  & hoping that Rochdale will have one eye on their cup replay, but any plusses today will be a bonus.
