There isn't the same concern about that though, apart from those clubs' fans and some purist types.

A euro league with the big teams in suffering would be a bigger deal.

I reckon most of those clubs would be very wary of it to be honest.

Blackburn are now in their 8th season out of the Premier League and the Venkys are still paying the bills and wages on time and they haven't sold the training ground to Burnley.So the Venkys didn't drop the club like a stone the season the parachute money stopped

Blackburn Rovers have had quite a bit of undeserved good fortune over the years with Jack Walker ...... and now Venky's consistently putting their hands in their pockets. 

I'd say on a level playing field in terms of size of club Bolton, Preston and Burnley are all bigger clubs than Blackburn.

Having worked in each of Blackburn, Burnley, Bolton and Preston over the years I'd also say the population of Blackburn is the most lame and least characterful. 

All in all, fuck em. About time they had some prolonged shit luck.
