Huge,

My mate works there, he's been given 2 weeks off unpaid, very shitty

i suppose the point is, everybody will knowingly take some risks

you dont know that you might bump into an 80 year old with chronic breathing issues as you leave the pub, but you might

and if you hadnt left the house, it wouldnt have happened

its very unlikely, but why take the chance is a reasonable question

seems fair enough

what about one of mine

he works for us from 9-3

hes got 3 kids, his estranged wife has been sectioned

his mum and dad would normally help him at school holidays

his mum is 80 plus and in hospital bed in preston, every chance shes not getting out

and dad is similar age

bloke himself has got massive issues with his lungs, not sure if hes on half power or if its even less

what the fcuk is he expected to do?

Staying alive for his kids and hopefully for his mum and dad in the future is his main priority.

Government are going to pay a % of wages in private companies apparently - lets see how that pans out - will help a lot if they do

which for him, will be great

however

at that point, the shit hits the fan

manufacturing companies will then need massive support cos theres going to be nobody turning up

in fact, im taking my laptop home  :)

yeah but at least he, and others who work for you will get some wages to live off - so some businesses may be able to freeze production, then return, with the same workers when it restarts - think that's the idea to some extent

Who are the people who are carrying on regardless spreading it to? What do you know about their personal curcumstances?

Never said you are spreading it, but unless you're off to live in a cave (which you're not based on you thinking about going to the pub) then there's a chance you could spread it if you got it

FYI since Monday I’ve seen my missus. Since Monday my missus has seen me. Apart from one trip to the supermarket in and out and used self checkout not a soul.

next week. Will see and interact with the same person. At the end of next week as is my prerogative I will assess the situation. If at that point I wish to go somewhere I will With my missus . At that point I will go home with Her and we will again see nobody.

how many people have you interacted with personally  in the last week? Less or more than that?

pubs, restaurants, cafes, bars, cinemas, theatres shut from tonight - can provide take outs though

It’s the right choice and as long as they are compensated I’m all for it

In gonna get proper fat.

coronavirus job retention scheme - grant to cover 80% of salary - need to see the T's and C's

80% is a tremendous effort and really good for the economy. Not so good for those earning above that 2.5k per month threshold tbh if the worst comes to the worst But it’s better than nothing and will really help the economy to survive

Everyone isn’t going to agree but you look at London mounts these cunts are out of control. Reporter on bbc before this said he walked to work and bars and cafes were busy. Must be something in the water down there

They aren’t staff so not covered. You can only get dividends if you are shareholder so not sure that’s a valid concern you have?

More

But you were saying you may go for a pint. That means interaction with at least one other person other than your missus. Self check outs often have a queue so that's more people

I could catch it tomorrow but I won't know where it came from, it could be from a bloke in the supermarket who has spent all day in the pub or the little old dear getting the last pack of bog roll and so I won't blame either

So I shouldn’t go to the supermarket for milk? Are you fucking real??

And did I specify when I may for a pint? Which is a moot point now anyway ?
