Scotland seem to have forgotten to book any hotels for quarantining

Perhaps too busy

Why do you think its taken bozo a month from announcing it, til its actually due to start?

Shouldn't be necessary to use hotels really, just can't rely on folk to isolate themselves at home.

Still, dont understand quite why its taken so long.

It's taken so long because 1. "Logistics", and 2. They're worried about it being ruled illegal in the courts / habing to pay compensation.

Oxford/AZ have confirmed that their vaccine only offers minimal protection against mild and moderate disease from the latest South African variant, with no data yet on severe disease.

That's knocked the wind out of my sails a bit.

Minister was on a couple of days ago, saying they wanted to make sure they got the process right.

A month does seem quite a while, though they might have to wait until hotels are empty of usual customers before taking them over I suppose.

Not sure about the legal side of things; they'd either introduce new legislation or invoke something currently in existence surely.

Sold at 96p

Will buy back at 85p then watch it fly

I've got a lot of time for antibody testing

If I was a tin foil mon, I'd have theories why we haven't done more with them

But if this SA fucker is the issue. Does that not whip the rug from under your mob?

Everyone’s busy

It might not go back down to 85p.......it might well end up closing closer to the £1 mark. There's sill some on LSE waffling on that it'll hit £2, £3, £4 it £5, I'm not sure I'm that confident it will - but i guess we'll soon see

Can’t see £5. There’s 2 other companies involved according to Miami and no actual contracts awarded as yet.

It's been an excellent uptake of the vaccine tbf

91% for over 80s

90% for over 70s

93% for care home residents

Hancock said they were expecting 75%ish

Call to over 70s to get in touch, probably means that they are running short of numbers. 60 and over to be invited soon.
