The party is bad enough but you’d like to think she didn’t actually know she had the virus at the time. But the trips out when she knew she was positive... Assuming she did know, I can’t decide if those should be punished by fines or jail time.

Both

If she did know she was positive, and still went out, then it should be jail time as it's endangering lives

This.

Folk have been 'done for not telling partners they're hiv positive and infecting them.

This is worse, knowing how easy it is to spread.

I had the same thought.  What were they charge with?  GBH or ABH or something?

This is no different, although the problem I'm not sure how it'd be possible to prove.

Saw this in the MEN about cases rising - https://www.manchestereveningnews.co.uk/news/greater-manchester-news/latest-coronavirus-infection-rates-greater-19797477

You would expect cases in Bolton to be falling by a double digit % like the other regions especially so far into lockdown.

Fair enough. My figures came from this guy but it’s only up to Feb 3rd.

Not sure of the charge; something complicated like a type of endangerment I'd guess.

Every piece of evidence around lockdowns show they work.

Shit as they are to be in.

Well, probably work in the short term to reduce the spread of the virus and save lives and the NHS.

A long way to go for other aspects of society.

In what way?

You must suggesting too many folk are getting tested unnecessarily?

Because over 1000 are still fucking dying everyday.

98% of people who are tested, dont have it.

Country is on its arse, mainly due to media scaremongering and bellends.
