That was one of the loveliest things to ever happen. Stood in my garden sobbing like a baby! Proud to work for the NHS 👏👏👏👏❤️

Those Brexit issues are threatening my livelihood so forgive me for putting the welfare of my family at the top of my list.

The vaccine and it’s speed of roll out are a separate thing entirely and I see no need to try and combine them for some forum points.

Things can be good and shit at the same time. We’re all BWFC fans for a start.

I know they are and I sympathize with you. But you will soon be tying in the delays at the ports to the transfer gossip thread mate

and I hope and believe they will get better I just hope not too many people lose their jobs in the intervening period.

Now that the US has a new president, who is already sounding off a little at China, there may well be a greater amount of copper becoming available in the medium term. Only needs a few sanctions here or there, and the ore miners and smelters will be desperate to sell the stuff.

At the moment, for a variety of reasons, the kitchen's can't get enough ore to fulfil their smelting capacity, so are buying up shit loads of the finished stuff in a variety of states.

Just wait until new membership of the trade bloc is sorted and deals with other South American countries are done.

Be raining tanks everywhere for the new super duper heat pumps. :)

If people have not seen this programme I recommend it 100%. My missus is very cautious about vaccines and after this said ' I think I would have it.'

Will watch that.

A few minutes back, I was glancing through the AZ website, about their efforts to get the vaccine ready. Quite some detail and very impressive.

At the end of all this, hope these companies and scientists who've worked their bollocks off, get some recognition.

There’s no shortage of copper

Theres a shortage of hauliers willing to deal with the new paperwork and delays.

Pay attention lads FFS

There’s actually a shortage of Hauliers full stop. Ones I deal with have never been busier and crying out for more vehicles, trailers and drivers.

You’re more than entitled to express your grievances about how Brexit affected you personally. Whatever the threats are to your circumstances. Its nothing compared to how it’s affected me.

I voted remain. I’ve never complained because that’s what democracy is. You voted out. One of those who hadn’t a clue what it was all about. Please stop moaning.

👍 Will do

For the first time, I think I’m daring to believe that this is going to be over, and actually we will have a summer again and a normality.

True, the third wave won't be until August/September, so we'll next lockdown in October probably

That's my worry jokes aside.

Mum's had it and she said she was ropey for a few days. Older gent at work's had it and said he just had a sore arm for days.

Bloke I know had it in November and still has no sense of taste of smell.

The vaccination roll out is why we’re the best country on earth, bar none.

I'd be proud but the fact we have a minister who is basing his whole strategy on a Hollywood film shows that we are led by cretins.

Why didn't you stock up on lorry drivers willing to do the paperwork? Poor planning.

Oi keep your Brexit dogshit in the Brexit thread.

Think Spider was talking about the virus, not the vaccine.

Im playing out as soon as it stops raining

98% of those that get ded are over 50

I really dont know what youre worried about, but support your right to be

So long as we dont restrict the whole country in an effort to get to zero covid deaths

Not worried as such, early on I was all for catching it and getting it out the way

Heard anecdotally about younger folk still feeling the strain months on and we still know fuck all about long covid or even these mutations

I'll not be hiding in doors but proceeding with caution as I've done from the start

In November?  Don't think the vaccine leads to a loss of senses either

Ah, apologies. I misunderstood. I thought you were saying you wouldn't have the vaccine until potential side-effects were fully known. Ignore me. 🤦‍♂️
