It's affected me. I will not leave the house now unless I am wearing a condom.

My mum was transferred to a care home yesterday and they have banned visitors. We don’t know how long she has left to live, but it could only be days.

I don’t know what to do.

Christ. I'd ring them and have a chat with them - find out the best thing to do in your circumstances. I don't think not visiting is an option for you so perhaps they could isolate her somewhere?

PL Suspended

Tube driver now got it

In view of Trainline's fairly inflexible rules surrounding advanced train tickets, I wonder if the Government will turn around and force their hands regarding refunds or travelling outside of the booked times.

For the most part, the people at biggest risk here are the other train drivers who have taken over the trains he/she drove. It is, after all, a fairly secure box he/she sits in.

They might duck it and try and pass it on to travel insurers. Only thing I've got outstanding are some train tickets to London next month. Annoyed with myself as this is the first time in years that I haven't got a year-round travel insurance policy. Feel much worse for a colleague though who was supposed to be taking his family to Wrestlemania, Disneyland and a Caribbean cruise in a couple of weeks to celebrate his son beating leukaemia.

Problem is, who (besides those who have year-round policies) buys travel insurance for a trip wholly within the UK?

I think what our Govt are attempting is bold, and seems to be the right thing.

Completely agree, but it might be something that people will have to get used to. I suppose a lot will depend on how the government plans on compensating businesses for refunds, lost revenue and the like (if at all).

Have I missed something? What are they attempting?

I suppose that could be described as "bold".

It’s going to be a very very bumpy few weeks for everyone.

Be nice.

If there can be one positive out of this entire shitshow, surely Liverpool somehow losing out on a trophy has to be it?
