Just read an interesting link re Wuhan and the number of people from that region who live in Italy, many returning after the Chinese New Year.

Kind of makes sense with the correlation in cases, plus certain governments not giving a fuck as some folk would often say.

post it then, I'd like to read / share that

What’s point in testing people with mild symptoms? If you get to point where you are bad you go to hospital or GP. Like normal.

Testing people a bit pointless now.

Indeed

It’s about individuals making responsible decisions and then the Government, representing the community, to support those decisions.

I never accept a beer from another man, unless we're in a round. Where will you be?

Not too sure yet mate, friends from Lostock Hall ringing later to confirm where we are meeting halfway.

Definitely be in a round pal, and guaranteed to be a laugh even though the others are PNE fans, good folk though 🍺👍

Just read a list of what European countries are doing. Ours just said, telling folk with a cough to stay at home for seven days.

I was a bit worried when I turned areas of her lawn black!

I'm having to bide my time until my mum goes away for Easter, until I do the same to her's. She doesn't want it done, but I'm buggered if I'm cutting moss all summer. :)

It's just a tickly cough........

so he says

"I've had worse flu, without a doubt - but I wouldn't want to catch it again," he says during his self-isolation at home in south-west London.

Despite having type 1 diabetes, Andrew says having the virus "isn't anything to worry about for me personally".

He adds that the fever he experienced is "no different to normal flu-type symptoms".

"I've not been concerned," he says.

but then it says

At one point he had to go to hospital in an ambulance for an assessment.

My lawn is full of the stuff. Any tips (preferably that doesn’t involve shitloads of raking)?

Country2Country music festival called off at 20 hours notice. No train refund, no hotel refund and now no excuse not to go to the match on Saturday. Fuming

Not sure I agree

Surely it’s better to have as much data as possible

Mass testing could surely help the country deal with this better, data is everything at the end of the day.

Certainly good for us all to know if and when we have it, as once you’ve officially had it and recovered you can go back to normal life / work to support the economy. If millions of us have mild symptoms but don't know for sure if we are now immune or not then it will prolonged the economic hit

How long are you there for? I'm nowhere near tomorrow, but I'll be in Lostock Hall on Saturday night watching my mates band at The Vic.

Universal music have shut down for two weeks, we’re staying open as per the government’s stipulation.

Aye, but he didn't even leave the ambulance whilst they did the assessment, and was taken straight home after. Taking him in the ambulance is more controllable than letting him get the 69 bus, or one of Jim's taxis surely.
