The government said (in the official roadmap put out in May) that the NHS app had to be successfully integrated in order for the overall contract tracing system to work. Casino's mate later said that the app was ready and working, we were just waiting to roll it out because of strategic reasons.

It's got to be at least a little bit newsworthy (in a thread about coronavirus) that something apparently so important is now being binned and won't be in place until the winter.

Yep of course you will be right. My company launched a product in December. Millions of euros invested. launched and week later pulled. Hasn’t been seen since 

 

Out product was working  then they decided it wasn’t. Scrapped in essence and back to the drawing board with it 

but you know better than a business turning over 350bn per year no doubt 👍🏼
