Excellent work.

Surprised at who posted that tbf but the exact answer expected.

is that the same as the government are funding the clinical trials and also funding the development of the track and trace apps though? Or is it different? Genuine question that?

Aye but Boris wanted our own ‘world beating’ one. He really is a useless cunt

Do you reckon he sat there, alone, reading reams of detailed technical data and thought, "fuck that, they're not good enough, we'll do our own"?

Or do you think advisors said something along the lines of "we can start with an off the shelf product, which will need modification, or we could try and produce a better one for ourselves", and then made a decision looking at the evidence and recommendations presented.

Wondered how long it would take.

Hissy 😁. Sorry that I feel a comment like “he said it was working” didn’t warrant a response.

and over the bannister? Not quite.

I’m having a rather bad day

comes from same angles consistently Though anti government shite. They fuck up we all see that. In this instance I’m sure if they could turn back time they would. They can’t. It happens.

Right shit happens. This is another in a worrying series of decisions from the Govt that do not seem great. (Only seen reported in the Mirror so not sure even if true).

But I think you responses are probably more to do with your bad day than what has been said. 😁😃

We had a family day out today for step daughters 19th bday. West Yorkshire wild life park. Pissing down. You knew it would be rubbish when as we went in we were told we would be getting vouchers for free entry to make up for today.

West Yorkshire wild life park?

Don't you mean Elland Road.

He doesn’t do detail. We all know that.

Just another fuck up under his watch.

If the government deserve credit for the medical works, thats purely down to them funding it

Spending money is about all theyve got right in this whole sorry mess

It got them 7/10 for a bit

Not any more

Hancock didnt go over it, but the latest daily hospital admissions have gone up in comparison to 7 days ago, for the first time since the 1st week in April.

to give you an idea of the previous downtrend here's the figures for the last 7 Mondays.

4/5     1,336

11/5    1,105

18/5    942

25/5    662

1/6      651

8/6      461

15/6    490

Maybe a blip, maybe the start of a trend - will monitor it over the next few days.

Could just make it out on the charts.

Be interesting to see where these are- protest infections for example.

Anyway, iPhone wankers causing issues!

They're also only funding the developers of the app than aren't they?

Which, as it happens, isn't as bad as folk are making out.

If, as it was claimed, it works on Android devices, then let us use that, until this best of both app is complete.

So Apple are the issue. The app works in its base form but Apple are restricting the use of Bluetooth linking when the app/phone is not active.

ao Apple then benefit from having the cheif bargaining chip and will only relax it for their own apps.

who knew  these sort of things happen in the big bad world. Very surprised and disappointed the government and the company developing it didn’t see being held to ransom on the horizon. You would have thought Apple would put there commerical interests slightly behind public health

But Hancock and Boris out

You'll find it was the Governments fault

And Matt Hancock's especially and directly

As was that we went into lockdown too late (despite scientific advice)

And not having enough PPE

I’d have thought apples actions would be the headlines. Strange though not a murmur. Wonder why?

but I agree it is the governments fault

Hancock did say that Apple wouldn't change their system didn't he.

Now, in fairness to Apple, if that would cause a lot of trouble and cost, I can have sympathy. But that isn't the fault of the government.

Good to see that we did develop a system that works better with regards to distance measurement than theirs too.

Hopefully, this bringing together of the two systems will be quick and effective.

Presumably then, the whole world will be able to use it if desired.

But they deserve no credit for that Dexy drug, vaccine development, checking a trillion at the economy, building new hospitals in 10 minutes. That's expected.

Just a bit of balance, rather than full ot attack, would make it less obviously political.

4 more years.
