We were watching last night when she said it, I nearly fell off the chair laughing because she was deadly serious.

Aye, a proper deadpan expression. If I was the interviewer, I'd be howling laughing, like that Dutch bloke with the fella with the squeaky voice.

What was that show called , was it Kerrang or something like that  ?

Maybe she needs to get out some more and take a look at some statues

This?

Boemerang, which itself is part of a sketch show called In de Gloria

Yes, that's the one.

Study been released which is obviously absolute bollocks, but it says that seven out of 10 state school children have had no online lessons at all

Seems high.

I have heard of some kids not doing them, but would've expected more than that.

Chucking a load of shit to do on the Internet is not adequate teaching a lesson though.

Completely agree

Look at your experience and compare it with grey the reds

Seems typical of much of the organisation these last few months

Half arsed

Daughters school has been proper structured, much more like grey the reds experience

But that's private and doubt they'd have put up with a few worksheets

Jnr has 6 video lessons per day.

My lads school have been really good. Setting Maths and English tasks to be completed each day online coupled with links to videos for stories and reading and times tables apps. They also set tasks for history and geography which involves a lot of researching as well as PE tasks and challenges. Not the same as the classroom but feel he’s not been left. He gets a weekly call from his teacher. He has been in school a few times in the last ten weeks for the odd day here and there, there been more a notable change in him the last couple of weeks.

He goes back in for three days a week starting on weds because the wife is back in school on them three days for the year 10’s but with an intake of 170 for year 10’s there’s only 42 going back in.

We get maths, English and reading stuff for the youngest at primary school, year 4. No pressure but we try and keep on top of it.

The eldest is year 10 so back in this week. One full day per week. They have set loads but he has done fuck all really apart from the stuff needed for his PE GCSE. I know it is selfish, but I hope this works in his favour, he has missed so much school these last 2 years I am hoping this might be a bit of a leveller to get him back on an even footing.

Unemployment figures have stayed at same from February to April but job benefit claims has risen from 2m to 2.8m, the next set of figures will make grim reading no doubt

Not sure you'll ever get over your decision though.

Anyway, lad's school has been pretty good, plenty of work, just some technical issues accessing some of it.

He doesn't like it though- gets distracted
