Converted to a bar in the 00s 

Think spice valley guys owned it 

Had a great back yard fire thing going on but no one went in 

Tried to be a late bar, no one went in 

Dunno what it's like now but for me its the one pub no goes in

They have. It’s decent ale but not a patch on rivvy.

Missus has a horse up at the Rivvy brewery. Asked for a discount on some cans last week and got 5% off. The miserable beautiful bastard.

Theyre not for a session

Not been for a pint round slab town for years. Last time I was there the Saddle (Or whatever it was called) was a shithole full of 16 year olds. The Saddle used to be a great pub by the way.

I need to get out more, I think Covid has turned me into a recluse. 

 

I'm there tomorrow and it's been years since I had more than a couple round the main part after being a fairly frequent flyer in my younger days.
