I had in my mind it was Jermaine Johnson who came on as a sub and got subbed at Arsenal.

Diawara was a shocking player.  It was that Arsenal game where they had to get a shirt off a big fan to fit him. 

Didn't we cut his loan short on account of being an absolute pisscan?

ABC was on Viola street

There was one on Moss Bank Way where the vets is that is now called Northgate and have moved up to near Middlebrook but I cant remember what they were called originally

Yes, that was Astley Bridge Van Hire.....ABC Van Hire was just after the snooker place, 2 totally different firms.

We had an ABC van which Burnley turned over outside a pub in the cup match, yet never said a word to us lot in the pub when they came in.

I was at Highbury that day. I think I'd only heard of Johnson that very morning travelling to the game, I was surprised when we got there to find he was starting. I have to say though, most energetic debut I've ever seen. If he had his shooting boots on it would have been the complete debut. He tried his luck from about 25 yards that almost hit the upper tier!
