I have met 3 people from SA, one an ex teacher (see above), one who I work with now (left when he was 6 years old) and one I worked with in Holland. The only redeeming feature of the dutch prick was his ability to know when the locals taking the piss out of us English nobs. Other than that he was a massive wanker with an amazingly fit girlfriend who he treated like shit.

Bloke I work with now is sound and has lost that awful accent thank fuck. He still has family over there and says it is in a fucking awful state.
