September 8, 20205 yr The back 3 too often looks like a back 1. Not cutting out through balls and winning nothing in the air. Crellin, Hickman and White the only bright spots then.
September 8, 20205 yr No football team at any level should be able to play a straight pass through 3/4 of the pitch and have an attacker get on the end of it! Managed to get it on eventually!
September 8, 20205 yr Not good that really. Too much long ball for my liking. Need to be more patient. The midfield started off closing down well but now arent closing the ball down well enough. Cant play a high line with ineffective pressing . Very sloppy in the final 3rd. Need to be more patient and make better decisions going forward. Defensively we need to drop a bit deeper I think. They are getting in behind too easy.
September 8, 20205 yr The defence is woeful. While the rest hasn't been good, I'm sure that's down to lack of understanding between them right now but our defence worries me, needs some serious drills in training

September 8, 20205 yr Still a work in process but let’s hope this is the proverbial game of two halves and we can pull it back after they’ve had a rocket from IE. Doesn’t seem to be any cutting edge again with no service to Doyle or Delfouneso so it may be time to give young Rohan a chance?

It might be unfair to comment when I'm not watching but is it unreasonable to think we might be more effective if we played a system that suited the players, the one suits 95% of teams, the one we and the players grew up with?
