Sack manager Graham Alexander

Giving it Paul Scholes, probably till end of the season.

One of the few clubs whose demise I am actively rooting for

Can’t wait for the next time Neville is on Sky saying Solskjaer needs more time. Carragher will tear him a new one.

I read Warren Joyce will be Scholes' assistant until they appoint a new manager.

Warren Joyce was going to be appointed I read on bbc sport but is self isolating so they appointed scholes?

What's happened has there been a punch up or something? They were pretty cut throat with Johnson and Morley to be fair as well.. hopefully messes them up, was home couple of months back and saw a kid in westhoughton park with a Salford shirt on.... dark day

From the Salford statement:

“Paul Scholes will act as the interim head coach while the club looks to secure a new manager. [Reserve team manager] Warren Joyce, currently in isolation, will join Paul [as assistant] once he is able to.”

Bit of a snub for Joyce

Scholesy your up
