It's that match v Darlington (5/11/86?). What it would have looked like if everyone who claims to have been there, really was.

Now Jim, when I mentioned "rattle" you immediately thought of "rattler" a colloquial name for a train, and suggested Crewe Alexandra, a place inextricably linked to trains. Well it was a good idea but

I also remember stuff from the 80s better than games from the last decade. It's called getting owd.

I've always enjoyed trips to Rotherham & hadn't realised that i hadn't ever seen us win there. First time there, we were on their end 50/50 all match with bricks flying around afterwards, then trips were by train with the station next to the ground until we arrived one year & they'd moved the station  .......fortunately they've now moved the new ground back closer to the new station !!

Bristol City is still my worst ground, lost every time.

Derby is my nightmare away

Only win is back in the league cup

Since the 70s Blackpool has been a bad un. We've won three times at Old Trafford since we last won there. Thankfully they can't win in Bolton either so face is saved a bit.

If they stay down I'd value a win at Bloomfield Road every bit as much as at Wigan. I know thousands from the younger end would not agree.

as an 11 year old , my dad took me out of school to attend that game. beat them 2-1 , they were league 1 winners 2 years earlier. magnificent win.

our coach got all it's windows put through after the match , we were still at the hospital at midnight whilst people were treated for their injuries.

Boxing Day 77 (or poss. 76) we played we won. We went on the train. We drank draught champagne from huge barrells in the Yates' on North Shore. We squeezed into the Paddock. It was fckg heaving. A bloke behind me needed a slash ... so he had a slash ... onto my jeans. I did an "of, ffs. I'd have moved if you'd said". He asked me what my problem was & told me to fck off. I took a swing at him, he tried to swing back but had his knob still out. My mate stubbed a fag out on it, then punched his noisy mate. Mayhem broke out. Cops came. Him & his pals got turfed out. They were waiting for us outside, but we dodged them. More beer, fish & chips & a lot more drink.

If there's any 70yr olds here with a burn mark on their cock I have a bill for cleaning piss covered jeans to give you.

I did say we won, didn't I ?

Derby for me, closest I’ve come to seeing it was a draw we don’t talk about

Recent visits to Hull have also been forgettable

Anfield for me

Feels like I've been to every game since 93 except our fa and league cup wins

🤣🤣This is behind the " Brian Clough Stand" built on the back of Forests European cup triumphs . It is quite dated now and there is no leg room in the seats
