They are throwing the kitchen sink at Bahkmut but are facing immense losses of untrained mobilised conscripts. They really are willing to see hundreds of thousands of their people die in the name of putin.

some of those soldiers are smug little bastards.

They won't be smiling when they're facing possible death on the frontline and realise how much they've been brainwashed. It's just sad to be honest - genuinely feel for some of those in the video that realise what's happening to them.

I doubt that many of them will show their real feelings, particularly on camera.

Time and again, we've seen pariah states with numerous layers of officials shit shared of bucking the party line for obvious reasons.

Russia may start seeing more internal strife though as economic difficulties worse .

75 % still supporting the war - astonishing really (not sure how independent a poll can be though). That's now down to 72% with them drafting in the public. If they carry on sending them to the front line with no training, then support is going to keep dropping.

That's what the video said.

The figures can't be proven, nor trusted for obvious reasons.

All the mobilised have little kit and are sent to the front with no food or water, low ammo, most with no grenades and no idea where the enemy is because intel and comms are dogshit.

There's going to be a lot of seriously pissed off folk very soon and winter is coming.

Winter might help the Russians, at least for a while, when terrain is very wet making advances that bit slower. When it freezes though..

Ukraine will be much better supplied and prepared for the winter than the Russians sent there. Any progress either way will be slow but it will be hell on earth for the mobilised conscripts.

A Christmas Day football match between Ukraine and Russia is definitely a 0-0 on the coupon.

Lets hope they turn up in shorts and t-shirts like them Germans did in Stalingrad.

Of course, I hope they can utilise their better weaponry to flush out/remoge the enemy from a distance, without necessarily having to use stuff that will get bogged down.
