Its appeasement, that's all it is, and more people will end up dying in the longer term if you essentially capitulate to agressors. These aren't peace deals in the slightest.

  • We’ve reached a point where folk are so entrenched in their support for trump that they’ll side with Putin if it means not losing face on the socials. Thats where we are now. its ok

  • That Vance is a bigger cunt than Trump

I love things like this

Like when Greece told Macedonia to piss off, they cant call themselves that and now it's North Macedonia

Just imagine if the British exerted their powers and reclaimed their Empire. Then the Romans, then the Austrians/ Hungarians, then ……

Putin is from another century and his legacy will not be what he hoped.

Ukrainian history is incredibly complex, with all sorts of groups having occupancy/ownership of the place.

Ottoman empire involved, together with Polish/Lithuanians, Austrians, Russians etc.

No wonder they can scrap when needed.

Anyway, thought this was about NATO expansion. Obviously not.

It always amazes me how close the gaff actually is the US whenever I stumble up on an Atlas or Globe.

Plus them weird bits over near Japan and that give me the willies. Deffo skinning folk alive and eating them over that way.

Big Diomede Island (Russia) is just 2.4 miles away from Little Diomede Island (USA).

Despite being so close, Big Diomede Island is 21 hours ahead.

But decades behind perhaps?

Seen lots of oil protesters out and about. Never see them outside the Russian embassy. Same goes for the Extinction Rebellion lot.
Wonder why that is?

The war in Ukraine  and the weaponisation of energy by Russia has put back the efforts by governments in the west to reduce carbon emissions by years.

It genuinely wouldn't surprise me if there was a fair amount of agitating within these groups by the Russian state.

Just been reading about Europe wide concerns about the possibility of further infrastructure attacks by Russia.

Apparently Norway has just "lost" a fair distance of underwater communication cable.

Bolty has already said that they’ll have to prise Gibraltar out of his icy cold fingers

Alaska used to belong to Russia.
What if Putin holds another sham referendum to reclaim it?

The Czechs have already reclaimed Kaliningrad. ( Kralovec) 😊

Just read about Kaliningrad and the “referendum”

Quite  funny that.
Girl at work was from there, went home this time last year and said come over any time with the kids etc
Was thinking of it this time last year , think I’ll be giving it a miss now.

You’ll be fine when the Czech Pirate Party take it over.

They really are a party in Czechia.

Fans of the Finnish PM will like this.

This the queue for the Kerch bridge that the Russians said would be open in a day after it was ‘broken’

150km is approx the distance from Bolton to Carlisle.

Last I heard was that lorries couldn't go on the bridge, only cars.

Lorries were being ferried across.

It’s a small ferry😊

Be repaired in July 2023 now.

A raft and rope with a bloke pulling it along.

I would love the Ukranians to smash the fuck out of the bridge again

Another example of how despite us being in the realm of 21st century warfare now, if you can't keep your logistics in check then you're in big trouble

Lots of folk clearly don't have Google maps or listen to traffic reports
