I think we might end up having to watch the rugby instead

Barnsley’s game is off .

My mate does the PA at salford, has done for years, he said that when they built the stadium they spent hardly anything on the pitch, it still slopes, I wouldnt be surprised if its off

Hardly surprising, it’s poured here constantly for the last six hours and it’s heading West. If the pitch is doubtful now I can’t see any way they’ll risk starting it.

Needs to get himself one of these then he could rock up at any ground and get a good view

Its not stopped raining this morning in Chorley, can’t believe it’s dry in Salford.

Ive just been told same as iles

50/50 at best

This division is fucking dire

It's hardly been a deluge. Billionaire owner and they can't get reasonable drainage. What a bunch of wankers

Doesn't look a lot wrong with pitch to me

Continuous rain forecast for the rest of the day. I can't see it being on.

It's what it might look like in a couple of hours that's the problem.

It's too easy to call games off now, with no fans attending.

Agreed, but if they call it off cos it might become unplayable, thats not on

Rather they started the match and abandoned it mid-game, than call it off entirely based on a chance of rain.

It’s hardly rained in Manchester this morning and the forecast for Salford reckons anything they have will have stopped by 3pm.

Shite if it’s off based on that.

So would I, but I don't think the suthorities would be keen on that.

It's not fucking cricket!

no games in the top 4 divisions should be called off for a waterlogged pitch, they have more than enough resources to keep the pitch from getting that wet.
