It’s a point we would’ve taken prior to the game.  Absolutely delighted with the performance, some passages in that second half.    a lot to be happy with.

If you ask him nicely he'll invite you aboard to lick the windows.

  • Sadly, Humungous is back trying to pretend he’s a Bolton fan. Fuck off back to Wigan, you have a lot more to worry about over there.

Isgrove did all the things that you said , the only thing he didn't do was to put quality into the box and that is his main function , he certainly wasn't on his own though .

I don't think people are being negative , it's just frustration that the quality we have in midfield is by and large not fiting on all cylinders when it comes to that crucial final ball . I'm sure it will come , but today if any level of quality consistently goes into their box we win that game at a canter , in my opinion.

their goal should of been disallowed , thought it at the time.

the ball comes off donaldsons hand before the shot

Only 30+ years

On a par with thinking it was “Your name’s not Dan, you’re not coming in”

I remember a couple of seasons ago being sat next to a bloke at the match who kept singing “ We are the one and the only the wanderers” i didn’t have the heart to tell him, but it irritated the fuck out of me all through the game.Wasn’t you was it Stig? 😂

Was going to say same. It’s surprising how lyrics morph to what groups of people think they hear.

We’re by far the greatest , the world has ever seen became We’re by far the greatest team the world has ever seen some time in the mid-80s.

I always remember it as being the latter. I also remember when my daughter was little she would sing “ Ohhh wakey wakey, wakey wakey wakey wakey Wanderers” She didn’t find out the real lyrics till years later. Anyway back to Bratfurt - can’t see them finishing top6 or  7, they’re shit

Best I’ve seen us play that today but just knew them scabby fuckers would get one.
Pity Doyle has a 50p head or we’d of been out of sight

Must admit, them being unbeaten in 15 makes me wonder how.

And the pitch looked heavy as fuck, as though they were playing on an inch of modelling clay.

Nowt wrong with an away point against another in form team.

Thought we shaded it though, Mrs Dimron made a similar comment about Doyle's eddin'

Bradfords legs looked heavy as fuck 2nd half.

Their defence chucked everything on the line in the second half i can't remember the last time so many shot were charged down or a block going in.

Credit to Evatt and the staff, the squad looks extremely fit, lots of sprints. Still can't believe Doyle missed that chance but not the end of the world. Need to get back to winning ways on Tuesday!

Fair point, we look far from leggy.

Thought we played really well today.

If that was the two best 2 teams in the league currently then it's good news for us. We looked a class above for the first 85 minutes of the game.

There shouldn't be an inquest into todays game, I think that's 10 unbeaten including 7 wins, 10 games ago i would have snatched your hands off.

Unbeaten run continues and on to Tuesday, plenty to play for, gotta be more clinical to match our dominance, 1 goal isn't always going to be enough.

76 + points maybe enough this season, this league is condensed and every fucker in the top 8 all have to play each other.

8 or 9 wins out of 13 maybe enough.

If current average points of top 3 continues, Cheltenham 85 pts, FGR 82 and Cambridge 78.5.  We're on course for 71, and Newport currently 7th best on course for 73.3 - so not a lot to make up for 7th, but to get 3rd we're definitely relying on others.  I don't quite get that them playing each other means their average will come down, they've all played each other in the first half of the season too, and still got 1.7 pts per game.  Chances are one team wins when they play each other anyway so the average wont change much.

Any road, lets get 6 points next week and we're breathing down the neck of 3rd place hopefully.

2 shots on target, despite all the good football and possession, therein lies the problem for me,

aye, creating but not clinical

I miss those early season comebacks

anyway, good point, but still think if we're to get top 3 we need to start knocking out some 2-3-4 goal wins where we create much more

You started it u clown? calling me a mad man for having an opinion on Doyle not playing well. And if you really believe he has been on top form you know nothing about football

Careful, having an opinion isn't encouraged.  Easier to just say the manager knows best.  He sees them in training, he's a professional, etc etc.

I’m not really into all this average points malarkey. But one question I will ask is, are you basing OUR “current” average on our whole season? Surely then this is warped as we are a completely different team, performing a whole lot better.

Based on what I’ve seen in the last 3 months there isn’t a team who can perform as well, with as much quality and with as much consistency as we are doing. Doesn’t this count for more?

Hope im wrong, but we are not going to finish in the top 3. Hopefully play offs though.  Lost most of the season playing Crellin, and three at the back! All we can do is keep winning, and see where we end up!  Every game is winnable!

Go on I'll take the bate on this occasion...its not that he should be in the team ahead of today's midfield, Williams and Lee are bossing it and Thomasson is a great stand in.

Its that upto January he was behind Comley, White, Hickman in just getting on the subs bench.  I'd add Isgrove to the list who I don't rate above him; nothing against Isgrove, but Darcy's set piece delivery is far better, didn't aim for the first man.

Cue sarcastic comments from people that can't have a conversation about any player that IE doesn't pick.

The whole season is what decides end-of-season placing so how can you look at averages only based on our good period?

My son, who's in his early 20s, used to sing exactly the same, try explaining that song to an 8 year old.

I'll be honest I hate that song being sung by us, surely nobody above 15 sings it.
