Some were pardoned after assaulting an officer or other violent behaviour.

I didn’t ask what you were more concerned with mate. I think we’re all more concerned by that as well.

I asked if you agreed with these pardons?

It’s not a case if I agree or disagree with them, same as when Biden pardoned 8000 folk, I’m not really that bothered. It’s a weird country were whoever is leader has power to carry out these actions, he’d be daft not to use it to his advantage, like previous leaders.

Fair enough 👍

The pardons from both sides are bonkers. A stable democracy is one where nobody is above the law. And if a leader wants to make changes, then they seek policy change, not overnight power trips.

No wonder other nations laugh at the US when they pretend to be the leader of the free world.

It was widely reported he’s given an unconditional pardon to over 1500.  Don’t know how many weren’t incarcerated at the time.  And yes, assuming Musk is a clever(ish) chap he absolutely knew what he was doing.  Especially a week or so after his cosy chat with the AfD leader.

Good operator. Get close to the next German government (or the one after that).

Why is he cosying up to social media and tech giants and promising half a trillion dollars of funding into AI (which apparently has pissed Elon off already)?

Is it so he can use tech and social media to propagate (propagandise?) (fuck knows) which to be fair, he’s done an amazing job with already.

It is concerning at how easily people can be duped online and believe blatant lies. ‘Narrative’ genuinely can swing elections. It can shape thoughts and politics, and wars. And then it’s hidden behind “free speech maaaan” bollocks.

It is. The UK Labour Party a fine example.

Fucking hell.

What an absolute crock of shit.

That's either an ideologically driven post, every bit as bad as the one's you mention, or total ignorance.

Dear me.

Now then

Just read that Trump has cancelled Anthony Fauci's security detail.

He really is a horrible piece of fucking shit isn't he?

Keep digging pal. You are getting close to being branded as of the same ilk of your loony left likers.

If you say so mate. Never really expended much time in assessing Fauci but he's clearly upset you.

And that bloke Bolton.

He’s basically giving the go ahead for fucking loons to have a pop. And he’ll probably pardon them if they did.

He’s a massive cunt

All aboard the Retribution Express.

This is just the start.

Yep.  Would love to know who’s pulling his strings though.  The guy’s as thick as mince so it’s not coming from him.  These (expected) depressing, daily announcements from him and his cronies, in effect persecuting individuals/groups/countries is in itself impressive and clearly co-ordinated.  We were warned about “Project 25” I guess, so perhaps it’s the faceless ultra-conservatives behind that (The Heritage Foundation) who have laid out this roadmap for him.  Sad to say it will get much worse before it gets better. The US has lost its moral compass and will hopefully, undoubtedly and rapidly lose its leadership position in the world. (I for one won’t holiday there again whilst this goes on, so that’ll learn them for a start).

Come on mate. He's putting this mans life at risk because they disagreed with him (absolutely correctly by the way) during his last time in office. And he well knows the amount of anti vaccination crackpots with guns who might have a pop now he has effectively put a target on his head and removed his protection.

It's Putin like behaviour - and it worries me that you can't see it. Blood is on his hands if anything happens to this guy. He's a Doctor and a scientist, not a political opponent.

And I imagine this is just the start.

I get where you’re coming from but if every politician who gets threats gets an armed detail it will end up costing 10s of millions. Many of our leading politicians receive them but are never given the luxury of an armed detail for the rest of their lives

And I get where you're coming from too. But I don't think for one moment this has anything to do with purse string tightening. I think it's about Trump sending the message to people that if you disagree with me, then your personal safety is at risk.

He has a really high profile and must be at extremely high risk of harm. So he should continue being protected. All he did was his job. He tried to tell people what our best evidence was at the time and did his best to protect the nations health. While DT was filling people's heads full of nonsense.

What a spectacle

Amazing. I'd say it's found it's moral compass and now the time finally arrives to rectify the excesses of woke and political correctness whilst wreaking revenge on some despicable UnDemocrats.

 You won't holiday there 'whilst this goes on'.  They will be fucking devastated I am sure.

It will get much better before it gets worse if ever they elect the other mob again.

'Can't' or won't?

Stop being a fucking drama queen FFS. I'll give it some thought if and when it happens which I very much doubt.

Ignore them, mate.

You're on message board a  full of vermin nonces.

If London White and Crawley's daughters got diddled by a Somalian they'd blame her for dressing provocatively, they are cowards.
