Eight people, including six Asian women, were killed in shootings at three different businesses in Atlanta and Acworth, Georgia, on Tuesday, according to local police. A male suspect was arrested and charged with several counts of murder on Wednesday, police said. At a press conference in Atlanta on Wednesday, authorities identified the four victims killed in Cherokee County.

I heard a corker yesterday  - I've not checked the relevant timelines, so it may not be 100% true  😁, although the American I was speaking to seems to think it could actually happen

 

Taylor Swift is deeply embroiled in the 2024 Presidential Election, and everybody knows it. Apparently, she's got a gig at Wembley at the end of August, which is when the Democrats have to formally announce who their candidate it for the election (obviously we all think it'll be Biden....)   - but no........when she's at Wembley, there are plans for her to bring Michelle Obama on stage, and she'll then be announced as the Presidential runner. This will be seen the world over, and will blow Trump out of the water.

 

Sounds perfectly plausible to me

Not sure, mate. Usher at HT was a big pull and the fact that it went into overtime (which is rare) also will have helped and it only attracted 8m more viewers than last year's Super Bowl.
