    Right let’s nip this in the bud. If@RatchetMan @hughmungus @JimmyRiddle @Whitesince63 come on here and try and make out they are some kind of football revolutionists who can spot negative things that

  • You need to work on the 'intelligent'. So far you have posted opinions that people have disagreed with and then you have sulked.    Out of interest how old are you ? I am mid 50s and not trying

Clean sheets win leagues not goals

Take care of the back the rest will sort itself out

That’s total bollocks Rudy and you know it. If you don’t score you don’t win, if you keep a clean sheet every week then 0-0 gets you nowhere.

Oh come on you’re on a road to nowhere here. That’s the first 0-0 in the run of 10/13 wins, it’s not like we are drawing 0/0 every week

Yet there we are, in 3rd place, after the shittest start to a season in our entire history.

No I don’t know it.

we have been scoring and winning and keeping clean sheets

Become hard to beat and you have a higher chance of winning. Over a season the teams that concede the least are at the top end of the table

If you have to score 2,3,4 to win games sooner or later you will lose, which we haven’t done in 14 games

Man City win lots of games.

They play flowing attractive football.

Theyre only down the toad, they’re on the telly a lot.

Just a thought. For health reasons.

I’m away to have a chat with @mickbrownabout Boris and brexit for some light relief

Agreed. 46  0-0s gets you relegated!

as does 46 4-4's

If you don't concede you can't lose, so you're already closer to winning.

If you concede one, you have to score two to win.

It's not rocket science, but the teams who concede fewest goals tend to do better in the league.

So we need to be:

* Free scoring every game

* Clean sheets every game

* Attractive to watch

* Tactically superior

* Controlling possession

* Fitter than every other team

* Never having an off day

* the best players in every position on the park every minute of every game

It’s not a lot to ask is it? For a team of players largely made up of cast offs and journeymen being paid tuppence an hour.

We’ve some proper bawbags support us.

In fairness, we are shit. We've failed to win more than a quarter of our last 15 games. 😉

Good point.

Evatt out.

6 goals conceded in 14 games if my maths is right.

Give me that any day over going 2 or 3 down early on at Barrow or Carlisle

Exeter have scored the most in the league, and look at them looking down on everyone from their perch at the top of the table!!

It is not total bollocks,  our run has been based on a very solid defence. If you don't concede and you only need to score 1 to win. There is a reason why Cambridge and Cheltenham are currently above us and it isn't found in the goals for column

3 in the last 10.

On the other hand, Salford have conceded the least and are languishing in mid-table

They're more of an exception to the rule.

City have the best defence in the PL and are top. Best Championship defence is 2nd in the league. Sunderland are third in L1 with games in hand and have the best defence.

Best defences are top of all 4 Scottish Leagues too.

Both have lost their key strikers in recent weeks and don’t look the same teams without them.

We lost our captain who plays the number 10 and links the attack and defence.
We are a much better team with him.

Oldham have scored more than us, and are 15 places below us.

Maybe, just maybe, its all about scoring more than the opponents in any given day.

And recently, one has been enough. One would have been enough today.

John hit the bar and Delfouneso should have scored too.

Don't forget the butter for the hot dog buns!!

Not read anything on here  since half time but will go back and catch up and make it look like I'm Pro Euro A or woteva with an edit.

Thought they were shit and shit scared of us for a lot of the first half, we didn't score so they grew in confidence and had got over us being the better team when the second half begun.

We were a bit directionless all second half and only really deserved a point by the end, if we'd  put any chance away early it would have been 27-0.

is it only me but, gilks to santos to baptiste to gilks to santos ,to baptiste is fucking boring . it allows other teams to set up 2 banks of defenders .

we have great attacking options , use them to create chances.

goals win games not clean sheets
