  • I really don't get this 'the results went for us' or 'relying on others' bollocks. The season is 46 matches for everybody and we all have to play each other. Some fuckin mentalists.

  • Fuck off you cunt! Enjoy the winning feeling!

Massive risk putting Maddison in from the start

Why?

No risk whatsoever

Right game for Maddison to start imo.

3-0.

Presumably he's been showing well in training.

Not sure I'd describe it as a risk as such, but it's time for him to deliver.

Well his work rate has been poor so far. Probably no different than Delf to be fair but I would have stuck with Thomason. Hopefully he has stepped up his game and will be a match winner

Because he’s proven to be an absolute liability throughout his career, not the type of team player you need when chasing promotion, but with that being said he does have moments of quality and hopefully he will deliver today

Hope maddison steps up and takes his chance today , for him and for us......come on you whites !!!

Give it a rest, you absolute winnet-picker.

Has he proven himself to be an absolute liability?  Pretty sure some Peterborough fans would see that very differently with a 1in4 return and highest assists.

Didn't work at Charlton, jury still out here

He knows his future career can get a kick-start with us. He’s not become a footballer by only being a liability. He obviously has some ability otherwise he just wouldn’t be here.
How about we judge him during or after the game.

TBF, he showed a lot more responsibility in the last game and was always looking to be positive. He didn’t give the ball away much too.

Let’s give the lad a chance eh

In fairness it is a risk as in the brief time we've seen him he's already dramatically changed the impetuous of a game by losing his head and getting sent off within minutes of coming on

Doesn't mean I think it's not a gamble worth taking, as I do think it us right now, but let's not ignore the recent evidence by saying zero risk

Williams, Tomasson

Maddison Doyle Dapo

Apart from Isgrove I was bang on

if he doesn’t deliver today he never will

edit: expect him behind Doyle. Lee alongside Williams

No risk

He can play football and obviously has the manager's confidence. As said earlier... Time to Step Up

Madison is a cracking player if fit and up for it. If the penny has dropped/he’s grafted his gonads off to get fitter, I’m all for having him in the team.

This is his chance to become a hero

Sent off yes but got overturned

Think he’s tried too hard at times give him a run and it will come naturally

Feel like it's going to be two banks of 4 today and frustrating to break down. Hopefully get an early goal and ease the pressure a bit

Definitely trying to hard initially. Every pass was a 50 yard Hollywood style defence breaker. Southend in particular he was looking to score a worldy whenever he had the chance too

work hard. Do the simple things right and his quality will come through

Agreed. Maddison can’t help the ref fucking up.

Why, when you can set your stall out nice and early for a massive “I told you so” when he doesn’t boss the game, score a hat trick and donate his match fee to a local orphanage?

No. Better to say he’ll probably be shit as it’s a win win situation.
