Tamimi and her family have always been fairly adamant that her account was hacked and that they have never shared such views. Which could be entirely plausible. I'm not sure that she'd jeopardise herself in such a way with a post that repulsive (even if she did hold those views). I'd also not find it surprising to hear she did epxress those views. Her 15 year old cousin was shot in the head by the IDF and then they attempted to cover the whole thing up. The hatred is riled up on both sides. Guns vs stones 98% of the time though. 

Hard to get to the bottom of anything out there. We've a million different sources but still no closer to the truth.

They've claimed the account isn't hers, which is patently untrue

But whatever the justifications for her racism, any organisation referring to her merely as a "Palestinian activist" without further context is clearly acting in bad faith

That would be simple enough if people's accounts hadn't been hacked before. It doesn't sound like we can say it was her for certain. But I don't know if similar views have been expressed among the family historically.

As far as I can tell, the claim isn't that the account had been hacked but that it isn't her account, which is nonsense

Without question, she'd be fully justified in her hatred of the IDF and the illegal settlers in the West Bank, but not in her hardcore antisemitism

It was a welcome reassurance to see an organisation so explicitly and unequivocally acknowledge the underhand tactics of Hamas in their official statements
