The British Mandate for Palestine only ended in 1945, and the Balfour Declaration was issued by the UK to give a home for the Jewish people in Palestine which kickstarted wider Zionism in the US as well. It's got everything to do with us, and we shouldn't forget that.

To say it's their's others them, and makes it seem different from how anyone one of us would feel living there. Think less religion and more global politics and it's there you'll find the source of the conflict. Omniscient deities are the smoke screen. Same as it was from Rome to the Ottoman Empire. It's only ever been about control and power, it's just the banners that change.
