Nah. Many of Israel’s senior politicians have made no secret of their desire to take ever more Palestinian land. In the West Bank & Gaza. They’re at it every day & want them gone. These policies come from the top of government.

To be fair, it now shows why the argument about Gaza’s neighbours not taking more in is nonsense. If Jordan & Egypt open the borders & resettle them, then they’re also complicit in ethnic cleansing.

Interestingly, or not, I was listening to an FT podcast earlier, they were talking about how Trump is about to come to loggerheads with the major US oil firms. He's all for "Drill baby Drill" and apparently they're pretty much all saying "Fuck that, we plan to invest less this year, we actually want to drill less"

Something to do with the fact that there is already an oversupply, and oil is (in their minds) already too cheap - further drilling would only further reduce the cost of a barrel. Granted, that's great for the consumer, but I guess not as good if you're the one pulling it out of the ground

You've got yourself all confused on this now, but that's no surprise. 

I don't for a minute think that Trump will occupy Gaza with so many opposed to it. I never actually said I thought he would. You just made that bit up. 

I'm only arguing the danger of his views. You seem to think he's just a harmless chap ("the Don") who likes winding people up, and it's obvious you get a weird kick out of it all. Clearly his views aren't harmless and it's those kind of views which mean Palestinians are getting kicked off their land on a daily basis. 

I don't know how anyone can think that a leader of the US saying this kind of stuff is harmless, but hey ho. Each to their own.
