For two reasons- firstly perhaps to allow another lawyer to challenge (or corroborate) her comments, as that is fair and reasonable. Secondly, to allow her to finish and respond. Does my head in when a guest is spoken to like that at the end, when Adler insists on having the last word as if she is a lawyer, without affording the opportunity to respond. It's not as if the lass was rude, abusive, advocating terror or some such.
