Yesterday you’d no idea what the symbolism of it meant. Now you’re trying to defend something you knew nothing about. Keep digging.

Exactly! It’s as obscure as it gets.

I’m not defending anything. It’s a coincidence mate. Which is why nobody at the protest had any 😂

 Keep digging 😉

How do you know nobody at the protest had any? It’s a question.

Next time you walk past a cheap tat stall in a City Centre, or go to an arcade place, have a look. Those exact reversible octopus toys are fucking everywhere, and have been for a few years now.

I don’t know why I bother. Either you don’t read the previous posts or ….

I won’t go there.

I think you’ve missed the point that they’re everywhere.

Demos tend to happen in busier central locations, which funnily enough is where people also try selling their tat. It’s barely even a coincidence.

Come on Sherlock. We’ve answered your question 👍

Are you talking about the "Coincidence?" question? Yes, it's a coincidence. The octopus toys have been around long before one was highlighted in the Greta Thunberg photo as "proof" that she's an Anti-Semite. No, I can't prove it, beyond that fact my lad won 3 of them in Blackpool about 2 years ago and I've seen them all over the place ever since.

You’re just making things up. You cannot prove anything you’ve just said. I say many things. Not everyone agrees, that’s fair enough but you just say things that are not true. Back up what you’ve said with facts.

Easy to reach that point mate. Will they attempt to concoct a 'coincidence' defence for butchering and burning babies?

The sheer depravity of what these primitive savages have done should negate any sympathy whatsoever for the results of the disinfection which is coming.

No doubt the marching interlopers and their leftie friends around the globe are able to consign the kibbutz atrocities to the 'meh' bin. A different kind of marching will commence soon and the inevitable collateral damage can be laid firmly at the feet of those bastards these protestors provide succour to.

Coming from the bloke who found a video of a random tat stall in Leeds & then tried to use it as proof the Pro Palestine movement was using squishes to spread obscure Nazi propaganda 😂

Don’t worry, I’m sure we’ll see them everywhere at protests from now on. Squishy’s & Palestine flags side by side.

Is it a coincidence 🙈

He’s got me on ignore these days it seems. Bless.

Looking back it also seems that saying “Free Palestine” & “Have a blessed day” on the tube now mean you’re spreading hate.

Well, according to Laurence Fox.

Must be exhausting to believe all this shite. Grown men living in constant fear over teddies & hijabs.

It does though. It can mean the struggle within oneself for betterment - the greater Jihad and there is the lesser Jihad.

The contemporary reading of Jihad has really no basis in Islamic teaching ie that of a 'Holy War' - it literally means 'struggle' (and is mainly the stugglew within (that is the greater Jihad) but the contemporary reading has been taken by many (Muslims included) to mean war and only that.

So, as the police have to investigate, they also have to investigate it's meaning and context - as you can't just lock someone up for shouting a word unless that is relating to racial hatred. And any decent lawyer would point out the different meaning, despite what populist rhetoric the home secretary is coming out with.

This isn't a defence of using would could be racially sensenstive at a time of highened tensions. Its just explaining why the police have a job to do, and that pushing this sort of discourse doesn't help.

Perhaps not using such words would help?

What about the rights of a Palestinian state to exist?

Moderates on both sides have been arguing for a 2 state solution for decades. Extremists on both sides, including supposed democrats like Netanyahu, have fought tooth and nail to prevent it.

It is a fair point, its the chicken and egg/tit-for-tat situation again.

I think fundamentally though, Israel would be happy with that, its just that having a neighbour sworn to exterminate you doesn't exactly help.

I don't recall seeing anything from within the Jewish faith/teachings that says all Muslims must be got rid of. Of course it's not all Palestinian folk espousing such stuff, but there are plenty.

If we look at the state of play before the attacks, work was ongoing with Saudi Arabia to improve relations. Egypt has previously done it, and Jordan likewise.

Within Israel itself democracy is in action with many protests against some proposed actions of the state.

Turfing of Palestinians off their land etc has met with growing opposition.

Free folk having their say.

This is in complete contrast to the terrorist run enclave next door.

Indeed, but that wasn't the issue. I was just pointing out that what the spokesperson for the police said was correct, and it would be more irresponsible to simply echo the sentiments of the home secretary at this time.

When Gaza needs rebuilding, who do you reckon will be responsible for heating systems?

We need a new export market and I’m thinking that might be worth a nose around
