Covid-19

Slow news day, or end of the world?

”Aggressive” new variant has landed in Moscow. Makes people, even those that have been vaccinated, more poorly than previous types.

Time for Uncle Joe to push the button? Short term pain.

What you going to do?

Won’t be leaving the house until I’ve done two days worth of negative tests. Hoping that will be tomorrow and Saturday so I can go to the game but that’s probably nigh on impossible. Just my luck that it coincides with my first days off work in 16 days mind, though work’s policy is to stay away until two negative tests.

I'm not bloody testing again, got too much to do and meetings to have. Not stopping for a sniffle.

Alright Paul Robinson!

How is Lassiter's? 😁

Mrs is positive again now - she has to test every week before she goes to see certain casts.

I'm not testing as I feel fine and I'm not stopping in again for five fucking days.

You don't have to any more.

I still would though myself

I basically wouldn't go to the gym, the shops, the match or drop daughter off at school

Wouldn't be a hardship anyway

I'd still walk the dog and go for a run if I was able to

I know it's harsh, but that's where I'm at, plus it decimated my sector and the less we have people stopping at home, the better.

Interesting

If I don't work, I don't earn. I had to go to a three hour meeting today to keep a client after a fuck up from the PR company we recommended.

Not losing a contract, so not testing if I've a bunged up nose.

Mrs. Fogarty and therefore me, had a brush with the hospital recently and I work occasionally so I still test and am still (touch wood) coming up negative.

But I was doing it for a local council funded event in East London, so I'm not all evil. Just a little bit.

Likewise.

Did a test earlier, was negative thankfully. See my mum most days, so the odd test doesn't do any harm.

Never, ever put that tit as a meme. Or a picture, or anything.

Still positive. There ends any hope of going to the game tomorrow 😭

I think that's bollocks. Morally you should stay home.

I know I don’t HAVE to isolate, but I don’t think spreading my lurgy around NSL concourse would be a particularly responsible thing to do.
