Covid-19

Slow news day, or end of the world?

”Aggressive” new variant has landed in Moscow. Makes people, even those that have been vaccinated, more poorly than previous types.

Time for Uncle Joe to push the button? Short term pain.

I returned from Fuertaventura last week and had to complete a passenger locator form. Link here tells you what you need. Think it still applies

You don’t need to do any Covid tests any more tho so can check in without need for a code

Cheers fella, will check out the link now 👍

Hope you had a good getaway.

Brilliant

I'd be happy with another day soaking the sun in Las Palmas.

Definitely. Fuck knows where you'll get directed to. Surely too risky at some of our airports.

Been on a flight to Southampton on flybe propeller effort in storm Desmond a few years ago.

Pilot came in to land sideways and pinged it straight at the last moment.

Everyone clinging to the seats. Proper shit myself.

Anyone know if British citizens need to fill anything in before returning from Spain?

@Mounts Kipper @Traf

Can't figure anything out online. I did a Spanish one coming out but no idea coming back.

That's if Storm Eunice doesn't halt everything tomorrow.

Apologies, only just seen this, if you are vaccinated just the passenger locator form if not you’ll have to test. I’m kind of hoping all flights cancelled this weekend, it was 27c here today… mental that it’s only 2 hours 30 from UK.

Cheers. All sorted now.

That's a proper scorcher mate. Enjoy.

Hopefully Newcastle or Edinburgh 🤞

Yep, sorry, passenger locator is all that's needed if you're vaxxed.

i had my booster in December and since then I've been fcked. i cant concentrate, walk upstairs etc. i struggle to sit upright for prolonged periods, constantly sleepy and burning chest pains. i had long covid in Oct 20, it could be coincidental, but something has aggravated it. been signed off until April and referred to a clinic for Post COVID Syndrome

Pcr came through positive yesterday I’m imuno suppressed so have been able to access anti viral drugs . Took me two phone calls and the mrs can go and pick them up for me . My wife’s a nurse so I’m biased but the NHS is something to be very proud of .

There’s been some magnificent aspects to the pandemic, the NHS managing to not be overwhelmed is something to be proud of.
