Covid-19

Slow news day, or end of the world?

”Aggressive” new variant has landed in Moscow. Makes people, even those that have been vaccinated, more poorly than previous types.

Time for Uncle Joe to push the button? Short term pain.

THINGS TO SURVIVE IN THE 21st CENTURY

Covid - ✔️
Nuclear Attack - To be announced (or not, depending on outcome)

Who cares, I doubt that fat plastic surgery steroid tits will target Bolton, he'll send one to that London and wipe out loads of scumbags queuing at 'Pret'

I have just joined the Covid party, not a good day so far.

This needs to go in the Politics  Bit

Seem to know absolutely loads of folk who are getting this again over the last week or so , some for the third time.

Same here

of the 24 people in the office, 10 have it.

Both my sisters have it, brother in law, nephew and their kids all tested positive last few days.

Most are fairly mild fortunately but a couple of the blokes at work are floored

Still killing over 200 a day across the pond, but it would seem we are passed it  ... unless you are one of the 200 a day

I got a good slug of it last August and to be honest, I'm still more lethargic than before... but I can't decide whether this is some form of long covid or just getting old and knackered

Went to a gig, wedding and christening at the weekend

It's either now or never if I'm going to catch it (or later)

Two of the grandparents at the christening tested positive today

Should probably do a test

I’ve been saying that pretty much every weekend since the start of the season. Still not tested positive once (still testing twice weekly at work) but I think I’m a lucky one. Girl I know who runs half marathons and whatnot had over Christmas and can barely walk half a mile without a sit down at the minute.

There is a lot of illness around at the moment, that isn't necessarily covid.

Wife and lad have been rough, but I've not been so bad at all. Both have tested negative.

Spent Friday until today in that there London, much of it on tube. I reckon mask wearing is around 5-10% now. Very much more not wearing than wearing.

You guys still doing Covid?

Stick TV news on, we're all on war fear porn now.

Russian missiles and bombs haven’t ridded the world of the virus though.

My glorious run is over. First time I’ve tested positive. Even though I tested negative 10 hours ago when I came in from the match and felt like I had a cold coming on.

well 4 people at the christening have since tested positive, one of which i spent most of the time sat with and chatting to

tested this morning, negative

something doesn't feel right though

will test again tomorrow

Mrs is positive again now - she has to test every week before she goes to see certain casts.

I'm not testing as I feel fine and I'm not stopping in again for five fucking days.

What you going to do?

I know this sounds terrible. But I've been knackered and had a headache all day. It wasn't until about 5pm that I out two and two together and remembered I should do a COVID test (it was negative).

But just shows how quickly things can drop off the radar!

I'm not bloody testing again, got too much to do and meetings to have. Not stopping for a sniffle.
