Suspect all the Farage sympathisers are going to look stupid when it's revealed why banks don't want anything to do with him.

Isn't it interesting how these people are also Trump and Boris lovers as well 💣

"Schmucks" I think they're called. This is just on a grander scale.

I bet Coutts have some right cunts as customers, must be galling to be told they don`t want your money because they dislike you. Surprised he is even telling everyone about it.

The Royal family for one.

Coutts will be wary of the money coming into dodgy nigels account from russia

 Aye and his obvious attachment to the Russians interfering with US elections. The mainstream gullibles never change.

Funny how this myth is perpetuated but the Biden skullduggery (a long way to run this one yet) never gets a mention from a certain section on here.

Right...if his account has been closed for no reason it is pathetic.

it has been reported that he banked with Coutts who are hardly the leading bastions of woke. All accounts are subject to monitoring and those of specific groups where the chance of bribery and corruption are higher are called PEPs, (politically exposed person), it was on Twitter that Farage would be classed as one of them , but I am not sure he would be. Having had to do AML training in every job I had for 30 years a bit of it did stick.

I do not see why all of a sudden a bank would just close his accounts , it would only lead to chunks of bad publicity. The only thing that would trigger it would be a sudden change in behaviour. Which basically means large amounts of money suddenly appearing from unusual sources. The banks concerned would be very unlikely to publicly comment on an individual case and Farage would be unlikely to give any reason.

I asked earlier in the week who funds GBNews to the tune of £30m per year. The same question applies to Farage, he will do well out of media appearances but if he also receives money from supporters (Aaron Banks reportedly gave him £450k after the Brexit vote). If one or more of those supporters is 'dodgy' then closing the accounts is pretty standard.

So if the accounts closed for no reason then 100% agree with you, he has a right of appeal to the ombudsman and could also give the bank his permission to discuss why they made the decision.

A perfectly composed and delivered post. A voice of reason is always welcome on here - sometimes from what I would consider to be unlikely sources.

I'd suggest that 'lovers' is an over exaggeration but, quelle surprise. Refer earlier post referring to voices of reason.

Ani has at least understood the implications of this if (and I accept it is only an 'if' at the moment) Farages account has been closed because of his political beliefs or activities then there are implications for everyone but don't let that affect your obvious need to assuage your thirst for remoaner revenge.

He can't see my posts, so can someone repost the lawyers quotes to shut the gawping aussie up?

You don't get your bank accounts closed and others refusing to let you open one for no reason. They don't care what your political persuasion is.

Aye, bank in not wanting your money, shocker

Theres some gullible souls around

They won’t shut his account because he’s getting deposits from trustworthy sources.

There is always the possibility they have a Cunt Policy which I would imagine he fits the profile of.

You'd know.

Not sure you can defend something adequately at a distance of 12,000 miles.

You don't sit there with a trifle and a towel and pretend you're a proud Brit, if you're actually citizen of another country

Course you can.

So can Bolty.

In fact if he hasn't got dual citizenship at the very least, he's a fucking idiot.

What is the reason? Has it been confirmed yet?

I'll give you a clue. It's not for his political beliefs.
