Simple really 😐

Try it when you have six music tours at the moment, each with 30-odd dates each along with everything else.

Hence why I'm working on a sunday night (and messing about on here to alleviate the boredom) and I don't actually work in ticketing, I'm just trafficking allocations to dress the houses better, getting design assets over (there are fucking hundreds for each agent - our designer makes most his coin from agent designs for on-sales - all have to to be signed off by about 50 people - who has the rights, who is the producer, who has the IP) trying to figure out why the ticket agents haven't marked backed their seats in Liverpool.....dull, dull, dull...

Its 10 minutes from my house, the academy is my local venue, the Electric is good for smaller gigs. Best area in London to watch bands (although I'm South London biased)- don't have to go central, direct train home and all the bars and food you need all in walking distance. Best night out in London is Brixton.

I have family in Brixton & Peckham. Love Brixton seen a few gigs there

Great part of the capital, as is Peckham - Peckham Levels are a great night out and Peckham Plex is our pictures - mainly because its £5.99 all tickets, all day.

South London all day long.

Honestly tempted to buy a ticket just for their half hour in case they do Ndrangheta Allotment.

Did you go? They were fucking brilliant. Some really good stuff at Gullivers and Soup Kitchen too.

Didn't in the end and sat at home regretting it all night so it was inevitable the whole thing was cracking.

@embankmentyou might have already seen this but Ozric Tentacles (full band I think) are touring in November with Gong, tickets on sale Friday.

Goldfrapp at Albert Hall tonight

never seen Goldfrapp

never been to Albert Hall

so am looking forward to it

this was actually the first thing that got canned for me with lockdown

was meant to be March 25th 2020 but lockdown came in on the 23rd

then was meant to be last March, but got postponed again

I saw Goldfrapp at a V Festival, she basically wanked off the mic stand for 45 mins.

Albert Hall is shite at the back, awful acoustics and overpriced shite cans. From the balcony, it looks incredible. Strange place. When the merch was downstair, where Alberts is now, that was fine. Now it blocks the way out. Shambles.

Good venue Albert Hall. Just don't fall over the balcony. Little tip for you there.

Ben Ottewell at The Snug down Athy tonight. Got Father John Misty tickets today for the Apollo next year too.

I'll take that

Think she's basically doing her first album so probably a fairly chilled lazy chilled hand job kind of a gig
