I’d call in for the Dropkick murphys ‘I’m shipping up to Boston’ then I’d get off

How Conor McGregor hasn’t used that as his entrance music I’ll never know

Has he done a fight in Boston?

If he has then he's definitely missed a trick

Doubt it. It’s such a fired up Irish themed tune

They are 2 of the best bands currently around

dont be such a bum Lord

Ive not heard of white lies for prob 10 years and the other lot, only cos of bataclan

Now, if it was an abba/whitney double header, id be all over it

Sounds like neither are for you then.

Dancing about at the back of the crowd with your winkie tucked between your legs like Buffalo Bill would only see you get duffed up anyway.

Take your memory foam pillow and get a good nights kip you gigantic wufter

You’ll miss out on this but I doubt your bland musical palate will give a shit

I do likes that, but its just 80s electronica

Already got that tee shirt

Go watch White Lies. Seen them umpteen times. Great band.

Ride at the Ritz tonight. FUCKING IMMENSE.

Care not what anyone else thinks. Took me right back to 1990/91. Best time of my life.

Not really a 'festival' but going to Rochester Sweeps Festival tomorrow with the kids https://www.visitmedway.org/events/rochester-sweeps-festival-2022-79679/

Loads of decent folk bands playing, and a great celebration of May Day - I'd also suggest a more postive, inclusive and historically accurate way to celebrate proper traditions in this fine country than blokes dressing up in a plastic knight's kit and swigging fizzy lager.

Went to see them Brizzle last Sunday. They were as you say immense. Really at the top of their game but feeding off the younger audience mix this tour

Couple more of the new tunes would have been good. Did they do Jumpjet as seems 1 slot in second set is up for change

No. They did All I Want and Twisterella. Think that was it’s first outing on this tour.

Definitely a great mix of younger fans down the front.

It was exactly 32 years ago to the day that they played Manchester Boardwalk. Sadly it was a total sellout when we rocked up at the door. Tried to bribe the bouncers. No luck. Remember it well as Bristol City had dismantled the Paddock that afternoon.

Saw White Lies at the Warrington Neighbourhood Weekender a couple of years back, they were brilliant!!

Off to see , one of our financial backers on Friday .

Wonder if Shazza will turn up.

The White Lies song called Death that is used in the film A Girl Walks Home At Night Alone is a brilliant use of the song. If you haven't seen the film, watch it. It's a vampire film but much more Death https://g.co/kgs/jo9CrE

Nick Masons was spot on tonight . Couple of Wanderers shirts in the audience.

Mr Kemp was bloody good on guitar and vocals.

Ashley McBryde in Manchester tonight for Mrs Biggish and myself. If anyone sort of likes country but hasn’t heard her, get Alexa blasting her out.

My 4th time watching her. She’s ace

Jonathan Bree tomorrow night at YES. Really looking forward to it, never seen him live before.

PCATBS rocked the Waterloo Music Bar last night.

Place was bouncing.

Proper fans saw him last week in Blackburn*

*Not me. Not a proper fan.

All sorts of shit coming up in the next few weeks for me that I've been cajoled into, everything from Steve Vai to an apparently unmissable triple header involving someone called Gary Sweatshirt or summat. The mind boggles.
