  • And as for this tiresome bollocks about pathways in our last two tournaments, do people not realise theres a reason we got those pathways? We avoided groups of death becasue we won every single game i

  • Fuck me we lose one game without a full strength team against a team of shit houses who shithoused themselves half way through the last tournament and the knives are out. It was just one of them

You divide by 4 for the French league so it's really only roughly 3 goals and 1 assist

Yup actions should have consequences you can't overlook his behaviour and let a scumbag like him represent the nation just because he's good at kicking a ball.

Admittedly domestic violence (both ways) is worse but it’s still pretty bad and shouldn’t be celebrated

I do wonder how he feels when he hears that being sung, cant exactly be proud of it surely.

Diouf used to get similar sung at him referencing him shoving fadiga's ex or his drunk driving.

There's a difference between playing club football and representing your country.

It's embarrassing shite, sung by thickos.

At Luton, had a non Bolton supporting mate with me

When Dempsey scored it got sung, and he asked what it was referring to

Explained it and he seemed totally bemused as to why it got sung

As said, dont think Dempsey wants it bringing up either

Before I go on to this justification - I agree, I’m not a fan.

But my lads love it and find it funny, in the same way we did with Diouff

Never went along with the Diouf song

But if anyone wants to sing it, fair enough though I won't go down the calling them thickos route

Never got the "we're winning away, how shit must you be" either

Not exactly getting behind the team

But each to their own

‘Boltons a shit hole you should have stayed home.’ Not in the slightest bit amusing.

That gets sung by loads of teams as well.  Basically any team on a bad run, I heard Newcastle fans singing it this season, at Everton.

We used to sing the same song but "home" instead of away, and I remember Madine going over and asking with them to stop, basically taking it as an insult.

But we shouldn't confuse a lot of the songs with "getting behind the team", much of it is lads having a laugh or taunting the opposition fans.  "Bolton's a shit 'ole" is another not designed to inspire the team onto greater things!  And loads of singing at away games is done on the way to the ground or in the concourse, well away from the team, it often goes quiet once the game kicks off, there's a game to be watched 😀

Think i heard the we're winning away first at Derby midweek and we ended up drawing 1-1

Just found it embarrassing

Like the Kyle Dempsey twats who he wants

Absolutely they are cringe.

@Marc505 and I were discussing the embarrassment of “sideways and backwards“ last week at Swindon last week, thick as fuck

As I said recently the worst chant by far is the "you shit bastard, ahh" to the opposing keeper. If you sing that you should be on some sort of list.

I remember that starting around 1992, it died a death for a while but seems to have made a comeback

It is by far the worst and most cringe worthy chant we do, in numbers anyway. It's proper adolescent shite that makes us look really tin-pot.

It was around in the 80s, I remember hearing it when I was sat in Lever End for a season (when that's where the singers went, 83-84), one of those chants that only really works if fans are behind the goalie.

As bad as it is, at least its aimed at taunting the opposition, not as bad as the one's that are taking the piss out of our own team/players/town
