  • And as for this tiresome bollocks about pathways in our last two tournaments, do people not realise theres a reason we got those pathways? We avoided groups of death becasue we won every single game i

  • Fuck me we lose one game without a full strength team against a team of shit houses who shithoused themselves half way through the last tournament and the knives are out. It was just one of them

  • Biggest cheers tonight were for the paper planes hitting the pitch. I’ve also learned that being close to Wembley as the crow flies means fuck all when it comes to the tube!   Anyway, 9th/10

Certainly not producing the crosses when he goes wide.

Not just him though; Foden and thunder calves the same.

Good goal.

Nice and Eze

Excellent ... We need wingers like him. Defenders nightmare with unpredictable runs and dribbling

'Workmanlike' victory in yet another easily foreseen mundane affair.

If that goal by Rhys James doesn't lift you out of your seat however, you should probably find another sport.

I thought it was better than Friday.

Created shit loads of chances, and if finishing had been remotely what it should have been, we could have been approaching double figures.

Wasn't the most inspiring game, and little atmosphere, but an improvement.

The slow building process has begun. Like Reform.

2 wins, top of the group. Qualifying was never the issue. I’m glad to see it will unlikely be one this time.

None of it even matters till we meet someone proper in the knock out stages of WC.

That's where this mon will earn his coin.

not only was rashford selected, he started both games

tells me everything I need to know about Tuchel

Last season aye

But since they signed mbappe they've had KM, vini and rodygro up top and JB gone back to the deeper midfield position he played at Dortmund and Brum

I think anyway

But same issue regardless that we had at the euros

If you want to play JB more advanced you can't pay PF wide

And there's no reason you can't play JB deep to play PF central

Just don't try to accommodate then both in advanced roles as there isn't space to get the best out of both

Nah, he is playing 10 again, and has been class.

He started the season deeper to accommodate KM, and was stinking the  gaff out, both of them. Now KM is playing 9 and Jude is back in 10, its class again.

He is the best 10 on the planet, moving him is mental.

Surely it's BOSS, not class....

I did wonder what they'd done to get KM firing but it's worked wonders

looked like JB was back playing deeper last night, and the 3 behind Kane looked balanced as well

as been said already, none of this matters till the KOs in 2026 (or the Nations League which I want to win)

Aye balls to the big national sides though I love the fact it gives Andorra and the like competitive games rather than getting bummed every time

say what you like about UEFA, I think they got that and the new CL / EL / ECL formats spot on

it's a farce

some made up country like latvia i think it was, has to wait a year to play a playoff to see if they get relegated to another group

absolute nonsense

  • 1 month later...

imagine the backlash southgate would have got if he picked this squad

Ivan Toney picked.

Jared Bowen not.

Foden not, but he's had a tough year.
