October 26, 20214 yr Just a wild and crazy thought but, if I were planning on attending with my little buddies all clad in certain types of clobber (bought by mummy and daddy) and being a pain in the arse (chucking stuff, goading the away support then running off etc.) it's just conceivable I wouldn't be sat or stood in the seat allotted on my ticket. Also, stuff like National I.D. - 'control of the masses' type stuff is more palatable during normal(ish) times, we relinquish at our peril as we don't know how they will be used/abused down the line. That said folk freely give minute detail on everything willingly these days. If Snapchat required a QR Code tattooed on one's cock or tits folk would demur to it. October 26, 20214 yr The whole thing is very Des McBain, a massive step backwards, stick a spiked fence up next, Ken Bates style. I don't like the whole narrative of all football fans being guilty when a few misbehave.
October 26, 20214 yr In the context that the club's own stewards have been twatting people for 25 years without reproach.
October 26, 20214 yr Folk chucking things at players needs to be stopped I can think of other anti social behaviour which, to me, is part and parcel of a match day Where we drawing the line
October 26, 20214 yr Author Perhaps the GMP are leaning on the club sort your shit out or you’ll get bubble games/reduced allocations

If this hadnt have happened we would all still be talking about what the truth was with the Sarcevic saga!

Its a passionate pastime. I've met loads off here and I'm pretty sure 90% have done somthing that would be frowned upon if you were round your nans. Do we now come in, sit quietly and applaud in the right places?

Agree with this completely - sanitised shite and a complete over reaction from FV and this new Burnley fan based on one game (a local derby). Its not that it happens every week It may only be a few hundred who don't renew next season due to being required to become a member (even though they already have our details) & a further few hundred casual / floating fans who attend games every week, but if the club can afford to lose this revenue then good luck to them, they must have more money than most fans think they have. And on the other side we have the loudest clapper in the history of football games, I've developed tinnitus, I wake up in the middle of the night sweating my tits off... fucking nightmare. Moving seats next season, but definitely not near the plastic bottle throwers. Are there areas in the stadium were it's just adults only ? Up top with stiffs

Aye, was in East stand the other season and the bloke next to me had a toddler on his knee for the entirety. It spent most of game kicking my leg. I was close to chucking the little cunt on the pitch.

I've seen you swinging from a rafter in a Rotherham (I think) pub with folk underneath you holding you up so you could remove a Utd scarf from the ceiling. The landlady was shaking her head asking the barstaff "How fucking old is he". Now, I found this absolutely fucking hilarious but I'm pretty sure this is the sort of behaviour this new fella is trying to stop.

If they cant use the season ticket details to identify folk, whats the point in a membership?
October 26, 20214 yr This has come from the top brass of a few places, FA , UEFA, GMP, the lot. Not us specifically but England have just been slapped with a ban for the euros trouble and there’s a whole review going into it United fans stopped a game going ahead by invading their stadium Arsenal and Burnley were fighting a few weeks backs The FA want this World Cup in 2030 and I guarantee incidents up and down the country are under a microscope and clubs causing aggro and getting a talking to. When dickheads are throwing things at players it doesn’t look good to FV when they want a community club and then they’ve had to give out 9 banning orders
