I’m working on the assumption that they’ve seen their arses about the trouble against Wigan and not having the details for some of the trouble makers.

I'd have thought they want to make it easier for folk to spend money, not harder.

Itll knock a few of the already going to be low Stockport game

I've just done it. Didn't ask me anything they didn't already know.

Same here.

Done nevertheless.

Done

Didn't ask for any details. Just logged in to my account, added the membership and checked out.

Same. Took about 10 seconds.

Surely if you are an ST holder you are a member, pointless have your data twice, if you don't renew your ST then their enough.

I thought this ......Done anyway

I presume no one will have any historical data, so it seems easier for away fans to get tickets in our end (if needed) now.

I would imagine that for a big game/local Derby, then no one will be allowed to just become a member a few days before, unless they have previous purchasing history.

As its such a simple sign up, they will be able to attach any previous purchasing at the same address to the new membership.

I don't like the idea. Just seems an unnecessary faff for the casual fan and the potential first timer.

If you've ever bought ST, match ticket, away ticket or used iFollow online they have your details anyway.

They even used my ST title 'Rev.'

Don't they take your details when purchasing a ticket anyway?

Common practice when buying stuff these days.

No new information needed, so it's not a massive hassle.

I dont like it as there seems to be no point

For that reason, I only see it being a negative

The blurb listed the benefits and I'm not feeling it

Duplication for sure, but they're going along the lines of many others, so they must see a reason for it.

Benefits aren't going to be massive for fans in the scheme of things either. Don't know what's listed, but unless to buy a shit load of gear from the club shop, or rafts of shit lager at a kiosk, which may get a discount, what more is there to offer?

It's this that's ringing a bell or two

We also want to make sure match day feels safe and welcoming for our fans who are there to embrace match day for all the right reasons.

“Following discussions with key stakeholders, we believe this is the most effective and sensible route to take.

In itself, there's nowt to object to, but I've just got misgivings

I’m the same. Don’t see the point of it. If there is a point, why not tell everyone when the launch it.

Only thing I can see is they get more customer details on their data base.

So, as a long standing season ticket holder with Plymouth superfan points, I can't go to the Stockport cup game unless i take part in this pointless bollocks.

Season ticket holders are automatically in it. Like most have said there seems to be only negatives

you log into your ticketmaster account which you'll have from your season ticket purchase, click next 3 times tick a box and you're done

elvis met some Norwegians in manc pre match on saturday who used to come to home games when watching the filth, they were going to blackburn , but said they would come back to watch us , take it they couldn't just rock up and buy a ticket , how long before a game do you need to be a member?

if this is a supporters trust idea ...........FUCK OFF

I bet you've got a membership to the captains table.

Let's hope it's not a supporters trust idea and we get automatic membership 😱

cruise loyalty points come with £'s spent.

if BWFC want to go down that route a few of us should have free tickets for life and first dabs at away tickets.......

I don't think i've got an account, i pay cash for my season ticket & ring up for away tickets. ( & don't get me started on having to pay booking fees & whatnot for away tickets when i used to just pay & pick them up at the ticket office for face value 😄   )
