Whilst still awaiting @Eddie reply I've sought the help of AI (I still would prefer Eddies opinion though).

Q to AI - bolton wanderers accounts 30 june 2025 How much equity is shown to be in the business

In the annual accounts for the year ending 30 June 2025, the consolidated group (Football Ventures (Whites) Limited) reports a negative total equity position of -£7.06 million (presented as net liabilities). The breakdown of the total equity components at the year-end is as follows:

Called-Up Share Capital: £6.62 million

Share Premium Account: £25.55 million

Capital Redemption Reserve: £750,000

Accumulated Losses: -£39.99 million

Total Equity: -£7.06 million

Q to AI - is your analysis correct because the accounts show profit and loss reserves of minus £58,238,389

Yes, your figure is correct. The profit and loss reserve is exactly minus £58,238,389 (accumulated historical losses). [1]

The previous calculation of -£39.99 million was missing the newly incurred £14.36 million loss for the 2025 financial year, on top of existing baseline adjustments. [1]

Corrected Breakdown of Capital and Reserves

When evaluating the full Total Equity (Total Capital and Reserves) from the balance sheet of Football Ventures (Whites) Limited as of 30 June 2025, the exact figures are:

  • Called-Up Share Capital: £6.62 million

  • Share Premium Account: £23.80 million

  • Capital Redemption Reserve: £750,000

  • Profit and Loss Account (Accumulated Losses): -£58,238,389

  • Total Shareholder Equity: -£27.06 million

So according to AI and awaiting Eddie's opinion (or anyone else on here who has an understanding of accounts) the £30m invested last summer was to clear the 27m equity debt outstanding leaving only £3m in the kitty for the season just ended.

If correct there is no money in the club pay this seasons trading loss (which I assume will be far greater than £3m) and nothing in the pot for any transfer business.

FV have had to make a Solvency Statement that they will fund and complete the coming season.

I don't doubt they will, meaning they will already covering the trading losses of last season, found some money for transfers and will ensure that trading costs for next season will be met.

Fwiw (and because I've struggled to understand why the accumulated losses are stated as they are) they are comprised of £40m prior to the 2025 accounts plus the £14.3 trading deficit in 2025 - the bit I've been stupidly missing all this time is that the losses are COMPANY losses, not just the clubs, and the remaining balance are the losses from the hotel)

Your fucking boring

Given a choice between being boring or being a thick cunt like you, I'll take boring everyday, thank you.

(Is that how you prefer discussions to be done on here, then?)

it's becoming tedious, it's at the point where you see the name of the last poster is Sluffy and you really don't want to click on the thread.

Hopefully @zico can do us all a favour and put an end to the Sluffy show

Well it has come to an end.

I've got to the point where I believe I've proved my point beyond all reasonable doubt about FV's financials and how it will impact on the season ahead and challenged Eddie and Road Runner to prove me wrong - and they won't - the numbers are in black and white in the independently audited accounts.

I don't care if you or anyone else are bothered about the money side of the club but it directly effects the team that we are all supporters of.

Some people, maybe only a few, did wanted to know, I wanted to know myself but no one could tell me so I've had to do all the hard work for myself and I've got there (unless Eddie, Road Runner or anyone else can disprove what is shown in FV's last accounts).

I've done what I set out to do.

I'll just retire gracefully into the background until the next accounts or something important is reported to Companies House.

No doubt I'll again be greeted warmly by you and all the rest when that happens, eh?

So what's your prediction for this season then? Doom and gloom and administration?

You can shoot the messenger if you like but I've just proved beyond any doubt that the last accounts showed that FV had a black hole of £27m (I've even explained whereabouts on the accounts that people can see this for themselves)

I understand that Eddie is an accountant or certainly financially savvy, I know Road Runner Fan actually is one, so it should be easy for them to shoot me down and shut me up.

I don't believe they can though because the numbers on the accounts don't lie.

I won't go on about it anymore, I think I've finally proven my point in spite of all the upset it seems to have caused.

I would rather have Eddie, Road Runner or anyone prove me wrong than to see FV in such a predicament, it certainly wouldn't surprise me (if no one doesn't shoot me down) if FV are looking to sell and let someone else recapitalise us.

You keep saying you won't go ok about it anymore

Then you do

You say you won't respond to people

Then you do

I remember when this place used to be a laugh

Ive had a particularly spreadsheet heavy day in my paid work and have absolutely no intention of unpicking wanderers accounts pro bono to keep you happy.

Ive said my piece- If PNE can manage it it so can we - too many variables to unpick so easier to benchmark against a similar club.

Eddie also gave a great summary of why its a waste of of time.

Have a glass of whatever you enjoy, relax and enjoy the World Cup. Season will be underway before we know it.

I've been brought up to answer a question asked of me, wasn't you?

I think you are still getting your fun even if its just to whinge at me.

I'll answer jmjhb question seeing that it has aldreay been asked and no more until tomorrow, if that's ok with you?

You mix up fun with boredom

Well on the lighter side of it, they’re trying to find a name for the cat outside Burnham’s Northern No10, so here’s my favourite so far..

Chairman Meow 🤣

Any suggestions.

No, FV have already issued a Solvency Statement, giving their undertaking that won't be happening.

Also unless last seasons trading loss comes in at under £3m then someone has been paying the bills otherwise we would have heard about late payments, staff being laid off, etc.

So where is the money coming from?

If they are loans they are unsecured as no new charges have been registered against FV assets. It could be from new share issues as although such things should be registered at Companies House at the time, it isn't unusual for FV to delay filings for months after the event.

Or someone else might be paying the money to keep us going. Maybe the 'American's' really do exist.

The June 25 accounts also tell us that FV value the company as being worth £30m although they had working capital liabilities of £12m, leaving £18m of standalone assets,

Ok we are a year on from then so things will have changed but if someone agreed to buy the club at £30m it isn't inconceivable that an agreement might have been made to pay say £13m in cash (which would settle the Swiss C Shares) and put £17m into the club to keep it going until the sale is completed - indeed FV did something similar when the club was in the control of the Administrators.

I'm not saying this has happened/will happen.

What we do know has happened is that Schumacher has stated we have one of the lowest transfer budget in the division, and him saying 'we go with what we've got - so don't expect a raft of signings costing us significant money (maybe that's why Luca Stephenson never happened?)

We also know that someone must have put in something like £7m or more if we assume the trading lost for the season just ended is say £10m and there being £3m remaining left over from the £30m invested last summer in the equity fund.

We also know FV (or anyone who buys it in the next 12 months) can put up to £15m in share equity to fund next years trading / squad building.

Does that answer your question?

If you or anyone else have further questions them I committed my self to answer just one a day for the immediate future.

You've mixed up boredom with looking at something you are not that interested in, in the first place,

Let the few who are interested in FV finances read the FV thread (being this one of course) where FV finances are the proper place to be talked about.

Talk about a dog in a manger.

How can anyone make any projections or assessments on a set of accounts that aren't even published yet?

Plus nobody has a clue what level of funding that's about to come from investors.
